I live right down the street from where they’re shooting Superman. They’re just openly shooting in the middle of the street. All you gotta do is stand behind a few waist-high barriers, and you can stand there and take all the pictures you want. They’re putting up a ton of Metropolis branding all over the city. Many storefronts have been re-dressed. Metropolis Transit Authority branding on bus stops. Posters for events around the city of Metropolis. Plaques with the fictional history of the city. Banners for the Metropolis Meteors baseball team. A ton of little details everywhere. They’ve basically transformed downtown Cleveland into Metropolis.
I definitely think Ultraman is a clone. When Gunn announced Lex Luthor he used the dna emoji. And the Superman reveal he posted has Cornswet with dyed eyebrows in a uncharacteristic position. He’s been dropping information about this movie the whole time.
As a fan following you from Cleveland, a filmmaker, and photographer, I can also confirm what Shannon says about Cleveland being a photography centric city at 58:23. It’s really like that out here lol!
@@SoulStylistJukeBox Yep...and she has her own simps that come out of no where to try to defend her if anyone calls her on her bull shit. I swear I wish RU-vid wasn't monetized at times. That fact that she rakes in so much money from her shitty takes is a disgrace.
I'm not sure why people are so bothered with the Superman suit? Even if this is basically the final version or near it, I like the more cloth, heavy fabric look just fine and that's not going to be skin tight like some of the more recent Superman outfits.
I really want Moon Knight season 2, good news on Blade, Ghost Rider, and Midnight Sons. Probably won’t get all that but I’d love ghost rider. Nova would be nice too.
I was thinking the same thing Rocha, there is no way they make that July release date. November 2025 makes more sense, and it doesn't have to compete with Superman if it moves.
In terms of the masked villain I think it's the clone / Bizarro theory like in Superman: Red Son. I'm guessing he may be getting arrested because Lex is using the clone to frame him
Really appreciate you guys issuing a spoiler warning. Other RU-vid creators aren’t so conscientious, so i already had the images spoiled (sad trumpet), on the plus side I got to enjoy your full conversation.
I have been saying forever that Captain America might move into Thunderbolts date, but Thunderbolts will move into Fantastic Four's July's date, Fantastic four is moving into Blade's fall November date. They do this all the time with the Marvel "schedule". It's always in flux depending on what is happening within marvel and their production issues.
Max/HBO it’s all the same. Max originals only stream on Max so now they will play on HBO TV as well so more exposure. But it doesn’t change how you view it for those with max, everything HBO is on there. 🎉
Hardcore disagree with Michael in regards to Steve Rogers’ comics characterization. As far back as the 70’s he was telling Uncle Sam to shove it when corruption in the government was exposed. I think he’s often written as a “follows orders first” character either by writers who don’t get the character and see the flag costume and assume he’s a jingoistic turd (and considering the vibe of lots of flag wavers, i can understand the assumption, but it’s not really there in the text.) or that characterization is used as a “because plot” as a way to manufacture or enhance character conflict where there wouldn’t be as much (as in. X-Men 97)
I don't see anything in the Deadline article about filming starting on Dec. 2024. They clearly state filming will start the Monday after ComicCon. I think they start at the end of July and give themselves a year which for Marvel that's enough breathing room.
Shannon coming in clutch once again. I'm here waiting for someone to acknowledge the Black Noir look alike. I'm a little skeptical of the curly Clark Kent hair but I'll make up my mind after I see it in action.
Ultraman in name only. An evil Superman from another dimension doesn't make sense in the context of this story. Superman clone for sure. Bizarro maybe. My off the wall theory is that, given that The Authority is coming and The Engineer is in this scene, perhaps the clone will become The Authority's Superman analog, Apollo.
Not a fan of the Mr. Terrific costume or the character. Maybe it’s the black gay nerd in me, but I would like for us to get a prominent black superhero character (that’s worth looking at) on the big screen. Besides T’Challa’s Black Panther who’s no longer in the MCU, we don’t have anyone. We’re waiting for that representation again. I’m praying they cast John Stewart’s GL casting correct. Grace wasn’t off with her commentary…Mr. Terrific has a hairstyle and styled in a way that’s very reminiscent of the 1960’s Black Panther Party. Maybe ppl didn’t want to hear that coming from a Caucasian woman but she wasn’t wrong.
@@SoulStylistJukeBox I didn’t need Grace to call it out, I thought Mr. Terrific looked very dated and wondered what time period the movie took place when I saw his mini Afro.
