Anyone else notice how Superman is becoming more resistant to kryptonite? Might just be the suit but i feel like with time and lots of exposure his body has become more resistant
I've always said that his body is just like a human when it gets "sick" it remembers how to fight off the illness next time. So ultimately he should be immune to it.
Was not expecting this version of Onomatopoeia to have sound powers, they seem to be on the same level as Black Canary and are extremely strong to get Superman pinned down (at least for a little while)
Yea it's not like ground breaking or anything but all the superhero stuff that's been coming out lately have such shitty ass cgi that it's actually satisfying to watch a decent one with decent cgi and affects
I like how superman takes 5 mins straight of THREE kryptonite beams on him and can still be standing, yet Jordan gets one hit of one and he's down and out and they claim Jordan is immune to kryptonite?
They said it didn't affect him the same way it does his father coz he's half human and it was his first time experiencing kryptonite whilst Clark has been dealing with for decades
Season after season, episode after episode just keeps getting better and better, I know we're only in #SupermanAndLoisS3 S&LS3 right now, but this series just keeps tugging and pulling at my damn heartstrings and get's me in all my damn feels. Like I can go from smiling, laughing, giggling, cackling away to crying my damn heart and eyes out, to gasping on the edge of my seat yelling and talking to the laptop as if everyone on the screen can hear me lol! #SupermanAndLois is my #1 series along with #cwgothamknights at #2... Apart from S&LS3E1, I have cried throughout from Eps 2-6 tbh 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I could just Hug you right now everything you said about Superman and lois is on point although not a fan of gotham knight though but you got me at superman and lois lol
@@AurianWarriorOfDarkness Hahaha thanks lol, and fair enough about GK, apart from the story plot, I also adore GK because of Misha Collins, loved him in Supernatural as Castie. As for Superman and Lois I just hope we get an announcement for S4 sometime soon, and I hope S&L never ever ends, like I hope we get a S5, S6 and so on.
I love that they've finally confirmed that Jordan may have Infact be stronger than his father .. they've been hinting at from the start .... this is why Tao dad wanted his body, and no one else's. Jordan is going to be based off the son of Superman comic in which he was labeled the True Man Of Steel a kryptonian with none of their weaknesses
@@lukewyeth1568 it was a scene after this one which was revealed that the kryptonite didn’t really affect him even though it might’ve dropped him that could’ve been from the pressure from being hit by the shot
@@lukewyeth1568 - If you paid attention, you would have seen that the gun used on Jordan was different than the ones used on Clark. Instead of a laser beam it was more of a shotgun. Presumably it was a one-shot weapon intended to be used if the lasers failed against Superman.
Just because he is immune to kryptonite doesn't mean he will be stronger than Supes. Superman literally divided two earths with a punch . He was holding back that's why they could hold him off . If this was injustice Superman he would have killed them despite the kryptonite.
Now that onomatopoeia knows that there is another superhero, and thus Mannheim will know, there may not be much point to hiding anymore. It may be time for Jordan to debut as Superboy to the world. Given how much mileage Clark gets from a pair of glasses, Jordan can probably hide his identity just by pulling his hair into a man bun. He'll look like countless GenZ dudes.
@@claudiaorozco560 - At this point that is meaningless. Just rewatch the previous seasons. The Kent farm is one of the least safe places in the world given the regularity with which supervillians who know Clark's secret anyway keep showing up.
Man how is this a CW show? Gotham Knights is total crap but this show is a masterpiece. I also think it's cool Onomatopoeia is one of the villains in this season. I know fans wanted him to show up in Arrow and while that didn't happen I'm glad they finally put him in S&L
@@JMR2875 I mean.... you're sort of right but that's not really how it works. This show is developed SPECIFICALLY FOR THE CW (which up until recently was co-owned by Warner Brothers) and therefore it has to fit within The CW's budget, otherwise they wouldn't be able to afford to buy the episodes. The reason they're able to afford it is because All other Arrow Verse shows were 22-23 episode seasons and Superman and Lois is only 15. The extra money saved by having fewer episodes allows them to have a larger budget for effects.
@@creativedepression Its developed and funded by Berlanti Productions, DC Entertainment, and Warner Bros. The CW is just a cable network that airs it, they don't develop, write, or put much funding into their shows like Netflix, Amazon, and HBO who actually produce/make and mostly fund their own material. They're a 6 billion dollar company, buying episodes isn't a problem for them, it's if its worth it and clearly, this show as well the other Arrowverse shows is/were.
It's funny that we're supposed to feel bad for her later in the season. It's sweet that Clark is empathetic towards her, but it doesn't mean we need to be.
Lois is the only downfall of the show, has no problem breaking rules for her story or putting her own child in danger to help superman, yet no one can question her . I shouldn't say that Jordan does bug me too, such a drama queen. "Sarah doesn't love me I can't go on" maybe get a haircut and wear a clean sweatshirt for starters . Everytime poor Johnathan has something good happen to or for him here comes Jordan with his latest Sarah crisis or superboy moment. Haha. I do enjoy the show though and have never really watched any of the other areowverse shows but have watched a few things with Tyler Hoechlin so figured I'ld check it.out and been hooked ever since. Season 3 just finished up and I think it was the best yet, writing wise for sure.
So Onomatopoeia was doing the same thing Thaddeus Killgrave from Season 1 did. Just blasting sonic attacks at Superman. What exactly were both of them trying to achieve by doing so? Hold Superman at one place for hours?
@@uncannydcmarvelous5732 He is, but Batman stole him just like he stole Clock King. Well he didn't steal him but one of his most iconic appearances is in a Batman comic so he basically did. Clock King was just straight up stolen though.
@@DiamondCrash Nah, Batman can't steal anything from Green Arrow; it'd be like stealing from yourself considering that Green Arrow himself is a direct rip-off of Batman.
I have never believed that Kal-El has the powers of a god just a Kryptonian under a yellow sun. He can't alter reality; he can't easily travel through time; most of his powers are physical in nature; he can't bring back the dead. That said, after almost 50 years, I am still in awe of his power and his mission to protect people.

@@yasip9897 weak lol hes getting hit by sound waves with is effective against him and at the same time tanking kryptonite shots he's hella strong in this shownlast season he separate two earth with a single punch
Superman is living in a world made out of wet paper bags, so it must be hard for him to hold back! That's why i also think that his Clark Kent persona is depicted as being clumsy because he has to be extra careful in his civilian persona!
I alreqdy felt like they did a great job of balancing Clark's power against the drama, but then we find out later that she’s literally hitting him with a train at the same time as he's being shot with not one, or two, but THREE kryptonite lasers
I've seen enough CW shows. This is a pattern. IMO, it's like the writers think we want to see Superman struggling and falling and needing....I was in the Supernatural fandom for a long time. The brothers could barely figure things out by themselves sometimes. It was sad and frustrating.
@@daniels7907 IMO. While it's cool to see the Kents fight and figure things out for themselves, there are a lot of good characters on the show. The Kents are heroes. John and Nat are heroic too. I will also add Lana and Kyle. Lana is the mayor and makes tough decisions, while Kyle is a firefighter. Lana and Kyle are heroes. I've only felt "Wow, it feels like their show" when Jordan and Sarah are by themselves in a scene. Those scenes can go on and on. But I don't want to complain because I love those characters too. LOL. But yes, it's nice to see Superman be SUPERMAN. I know that he's a Dad now. I know Jordan has a big future, but I just think I need more Superman in my life, now that he is a Dad, but especially this Supes who is a friend, neighbor, and symbol of hope.
@@louism3643 - Sarah sucks all the air out of the room she's such a black hole of emotional need. Jordan seriously needs to realize that she's not the only girl on Earth. In his case he can put that to the test since he can fly anywhere on the planet (possibly the solar system). I mostly get annoyed because they often write Superman as an imbecile. Like an episode ago when Onomatopoeia was standing there mocking him by showing that she can imitate Lois's voice (which he should have known since she's tricked him with fake cries for help before already). Instead of zooming to super speed and taking her down, he just stared at her stupidly. Then Jordan did the exact same thing after taking down the normal gunmen. It's like, is this in the Fortress holo sims? Are they taught to just stand there posing while waiting to get blasted?
Jordan needs a proper kryptonian suit now mam and he needs proper training, like sparring his dad that's the only way he's gonna get stronger i really hope this happens soon.
It's coming remember in the comics the son of superman aka True Man Of steel doesn't dawn the cape until after an "event happens" which based on the leaks will happen by season ends we wont see him in the cape until next season
Cool scene but I didn't like the wording she used, "go SAVE your father" it should be "go HELP your father" In the end he took care of the situation. It's still cool to see Superman real character, always holding back not to harm anyone, but most people take it as he being weak, but the reality is that it's his weakness as in his moral, not lack of power. Still, I prefer the character holding back than the bs Evil Superman scumbag writers made of him in some shitty Injustice storyline garbage This show seems cool but I never had interest for the whole family thing, feels like a way to try to replace Superman, and for me the whole Superboy, Supergirl thing is a knock off of the original
Why did Jordan just sit there? He has flight and super speed and it's not like this is his first time being in danger. First example of outright bad writing I've seen from this show.
@Scarecrow As I've already said, he's been in danger before. It's ridiculous to assume he'd just sit there for as long as he did with a gun pointed at him.
@@TommFoolery just because he’s been in that type of situation before. doesn’t mean he’s an experienced hero and can easily do all these things that you want him to do obviously, he still has things to learn which is also what the scene proves
Clark did the exact same thing at the beginning of this fight. In fact, he does it a lot. Don't swoop in at super speed and do whatever it takes to bring down the baddie. No, stand there like a gunslinger waiting to see who can shoot first.
It’s really hard to write stories for a protagonist that has godlike powers, and would be unstoppable if they used their abilities to the fullest. Basic problem with a lot of DC heroes Superman Green lantern The flash (probably the worst case) Metamorpho (or whatever his name is) Heck, plastic man.
I'm sorry, I've heard some good things about this show but from this scene it looks just as lame as the rest of the late arrowverse ;( you have a Superman and you make this... disappointing.
