BikeStuff dandenong has always been bad. I had a boyfriend when I was high school who lived in dandenong and I was completely terrified going to the station and that was way before it had heaps of Africans.
Stereotypes are just THAT: Stereotypes. It does not make it racist! It's just a typical summary of a various groups' common characteristics! (Of course there are always exceptions!)
Weird how nobody seems to be talking about this. You'd think this would be the sort of story that would translate to easy ratings but apparently our mainstream media here in Australia doesn't think so. Wonder why?
MELBOURNE: CRANBOURNE AREA: Sunday night, Woolworths. 5 -6 African youths aged from 15-30 yo, took off with a trolley full of food without paying. They knocked over a lady in the process of their escape. The armed thieves were chased down by one customer angered at seeing the woman knocked down. Once the thieves started throwing punches the pursuer started laying into them and then other customers joined in giving all of them a thorough beating. (It is wrong to say, well done to the defenders?) The police struggle to even mention their African appearance now we are all so politically correct. I note I couldn't find any mention of this on VicPol's Facebook page. Just wanting information about some vandalism seems to be their priority at the moment. Clearly this needs to be pushed off the front page as far as they are concerned. 3AW reported that police were nowhere to be seen even some time after the incident occurred and was reported.
Police have become report writers....they're great at chasing miniscule crimes. Have you noticed how quick they mention guilty caucasians in the media though?
