Hello & welcome to the channel! If you’re new here, a big warm friendly welcome and we hope you enjoy the videos. Originally from Liverpool, me (Andrew The KnightStrider) and Laura moved to Tenerife in the Canary Islands 6 years ago, and enjoy showcasing the island and our general life as well as travelling abroad when we can!
I got locked out so went for a nice coffee before exploring the shops and the local supermarket to show you what it is like here in Tenerife!

Love parque Santiago six especially the cafe you went to they’ve extended the seating area since we were there January 2020. Super vlog there’s not much you can’t buy in Mercadona. Love the pet shop as well x

Great Vlog Andrew. I never really liked Coffee and always found it butte until my early 20’s when I started working 12 Hour Shifts and was shattered in work and tried a Cappuccino from the Nescafé Vending machine and that was me started then the big Coffee Shops, Starbucks etc started opening everywhere in the HK and I tried a Caramel Macchiato and that was me hooked on sweet Coffees. Always enjoy the atmosphere in Coffee Shops chilling with a nice Coffee People Watching checking stuff online on my Phone and listening to my fave tunes. My type of chilled day a wonder around some nice shops and a tasty sweet coffee with a Pastry or Bun. Looked Great. Glad you managed to enjoy your despite getting locked out and thanks for bringing us all with you. 🎥☕️🥐😋🛒🛍🔑😁👏🏼😎👍🏼

Being locked out and the sun is shining is not that bad. I never used to have coffee unless I was on holiday and the tea was not nice but after watching you I seem to be drinking it a lot more 🙈☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

I’ve always liked coffee. My mum would make me a very weak one, made with all milk as a very young child as I hated milk and it was the only way she could get me to drink it. That was a great vlog. I love the Spanish variants of food, some are even better than English.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always had a big fascination with going to a foreign supermarket ! (a bit strange I know !) so I loved that vlog ! 😂 ❤️ I always notice in Spanish supermarkets, that the imported products e.g Old El Paso or Napolina are much more expensive than the UK. They also don’t seem to have the ‘ready meal’ culture we have, much more cooking from scratch. I always go to the Eroski supermarket chain in Mallorca or the mainland but have never seen it on the Canary Islands vlogs. Do they not have it there ? Do they have Pull & Bear in Tenerife ? Quite similar to H&M, reasonably priced. Great work as always 👍🌴🌞

That was a great video thanks to you being locked out lol! Is that shopping centre the one between Los Cris and Las Americas? Great Mercadona, much better than the one on the lower floor of the Eugenio shopping centre. I think you need a Primark there, cheap and affordable clothing and shoes!

Parque Santiago 6 is amazing. In 2018 I stopped at compostela beach golf across the road and used to go to the mercadona all the time. And the clothes shop upstairs

Would not have to get bored today, doing another one of your 'old' vlogs. I love wandering around in Mercadona or HiperDino, so picked the right vlog 😀 Think I would have bought the chocolate donuts and ate all 4 of them at once 😋🤣 O seeing all these sweets... Tenerife... longing to come back 😢 🙋

Had forgotten about Parque Santiago 6. Had coffee in that little spot before. Great vlog. Just as well you had your wallet with you. 🤣🤣🤣Mercadona has improved so much. When we started coming out 22 years ago they sold little or no brands from the UK. As a result we always shopped in Hyper Dino. Much better now & most stores have been modernised too. Really making us Irish jealous. We can’t go mooching in shops or get a haircut 😢😢

Love a really rich turkish coffee. Brewed in a cezve on the stove, with a small baklava or turkish delight. That's a quick kick up the bum to get me started in the morning!!

Probably didn’t start drinking coffee until I was around 20. Funny thing is now I can’t stand tea and haven’t had one in around another 20 years. Bizarre how taste buds change 😉

Lucky you, able to have a haircut/ I've to wait until April 13th at the earliest to get mine cut. The last time it was cut was Christmas Eve, but I normally don't leave it longer than every 6 weeks but lockdown has put paid to that. Last time it was a #1 back and sides and the hairdresser said I didn't normally go that short in winter, to which I replied that I didn't trust the politicians to allow hairdressers to stay open and was duly proven to be correct.

What are you like getting locked out. Our gain though as the mooch around the shops was lovely. Didnt they give out leaflets for Tenerife Pearl when you arrived at the airport ? I have only been in a supermarket once since March last year so was nice to have a look around. Mercadona looks huge.

Not lockdown!! lockout!!🤣🤣 Any excuse to have a coffee Andrew ☕ 🤣🤣🙌 nice coffee shop, chocolate orange Biscuit with it 9/10🍊😋 Been to that shopping centre and that supermarket a few times 👌 never like coffee its only last year i got in to it because I got a coffee machine because of watching your vlogs and try a leche leche Grande, now have one every morning because of you☕ but it's got to be Starbucks or a leche, leche, Grande, love them now 😋 can't wait to get back to tenerife and have one sitting in a restaurant watching the ocean 😊👌great vlog Andrew really enjoyed this feel like I was shopping in there know all them food aisles 🤣👍😊x

Feel for you locking oneself out of the house. Lots of window shopping to do. On the coffee question. I started drinking coffee at 6 years old. Always liked it and it was Sanka coffee I just liked. I have had so much over the years.

I think I started drinking coffee when I started work...back then it was coffee or nothing...tea was in the afternoon.... Now I have one milky coffee a day mid morning....and when I make it ..I call it ...my Leche leche....not so grande you need a t shirt with “ mines a leche leche grande” printed on it...😜

I’ve only been drinking coffee for the past five years or so and it’s got to be from a proper machine, can’t be doing with instant stuff. Tried a new one at home today, L’Or Colombian....🤮Never again ugh ugh UGH!😆I wouldn’t have minded being locked out over there....I could have spent all the time in Skechers. Love my Skechers 👍

I started drinking coffee when I went to University.Asda gluten-free pasta 49 p and cereals less than £1. They’ve been lower in price for a while now. Most other GF like you say more than double.😷😍😷

So glad that you went to Loft. We live it there. Perfect for a coffee and biscuit before shopping. The biscuit is sometimes apple or strawberry flavoured. They are all lovely. And it is reasonably priced too. 😊❤️

Starting drinking maxwell house at 14 listening to records (vinyl) round at my friend's house, over 40 years' ago! Love the jewellery shop and the idea of choosing a gem for a certain piece of jewellery to match it to. Nice to shop in a shopping centre with palm trees 🌴

Prices looked pretty on par with the UK,on some of the items....Couldn't leave without the Fanta hey lol...mind you i do like the Lemon Fanta..wife was also looking at the goods in the sports shop and says " OOooo when you get there,you will have to face time me,Ill have a list at the ready " Cheers mate lol

Brought back some happy memories of us shopping in that same supermarket. Every time we went in we only bought wine, beer and cakes but we were on holiday😀 Probably the last time that we went grocery shopping together. Looked a lovely coffee spot too. I started enjoying coffee when I was about 20, you're right, I never liked it when I was a kid. Now I just have black coffee no sugar, it took me two years to wean myself off the sugar, I dare not try a LLG as I know I'll love it as it' sounds like its so sweet and delicious and all your lovely people on the fan page have put on some great LLG pictures.
