We did The Jungle Book my freshman year of high school and they cast this white kid as Mowgli and makeup spent a half hour rubbing his body with dark foundation. Then the next year we did Mulan and the board of the theatre company we were working for wanted everybody, mostly white kids, to look more Asian

American school lunches are horrible. This is a story from my aunt, who is about 35ish now. When she was in school, there were some stray dogs running around, so they sent the janitor out to kill them. It all happened in the woods so the kids didn't see the murder. But the gross part is that the lunch was changed. From pizza... to mystery meat.

I have the same thing with movies. I've had a lot of movies in the past that got me really excited to watch it and while watching it. But most new movies aren't like that so I don't even bother watching anymore. Because then I'll forget absolutely everything about the movie or even forget that I watched it. That's not really entertainment for me if that's the end result. I'd rather watch a movie that makes me feel sad at the end because it's over or excited to see the next one as soon as possible.

I love Forrest Gump. Still have to watch Hot Fuzz because I found out that the Hound, Game of Thrones actor plays a weird role in it :P
