“The skin you take care of in your 20s, is the skin you’re gonna inherit in your 60s and 70s.” THIS! I’ve had really bad acne when i was 20, went on two rounds of antibiotics and then accutane and my skin looked good but it became sooo dry. Ever since then, I’ve created a morning and night routine, a winter and summer routine, all for my skin. Now I’m 26 and still aim to take care of my skin. A frown line that I had on my forehead is pretty much nonexistent now. Love self care.

as soon as she shared the ingredients to the mask, i ran to my kitchen and gathered all the ingredients! i originally followed the exact same measurements, but had lots left over, so i just lessened the amount of flour, turmeric, milk and honey. i also used whole wheat flour, because it's the only one i have and it's so wonderful!! THIS MASK IS GLORIOUS! THANK YOU IMAN

Just be careful with using the turmeric, as it actually lightens the skin. Turmeric contains a chemical compound called curcumin which blocks the activation of proteins that increase and regulate melanin production. This is why she is darker only around her eyes, because she does not apply the skin lightening turmeric solution around that sensitive area. Sharing this just so you’re aware of the unintended chemical effects to your own skin tone. ❤️💫🌍

@@myendlessloveejami6845 sunscreens with oxybenzone and octinoxate also kill the corals and damage the reefs...benzophenone-1, benzophenone-8, OD-PABA, 4-methylbenzylidene camphor, 3-benzylidene camphor, and octocrylene should be avoided also...long-term exposure to benzene is known to cause cancer... Basically, don't use chemical based sunscreens as they r harmful to both urself and the environment...coral reefs r severely dwindling due to these sunscreens...use mineral based...yes they leave a white mask cast to the skin which most people don't want on their face...but the clear ones that absorb and leave no cast r the bad chemical based...mineral based is safer and healthier for everyone involved

Love, love, love Iman. I was fortunate enough to know her when I lived in NYC. She is as brilliant as she is beautiful; and is a very kind hearted, yet straight shooting person. Iman is also a big philanthropist but is very quiet about it.

@@TahtahmesDiary that's not an authorized retailer. It's not sold by Walmart, it's being sold by a reseller. I emailed their customer service and got a bounce back. I think Iman Cosmetics has shut down.

I wish people would stop mentioning the 40s as the go-to age when they wanna say that an older woman looks good for her age. Today's 40s is NOT the same as the 40s of the past. Most 40somethings still have a young-looking face despite having some wrinkles. I know this because I'm in my 40s as well.

Nah. She looks maybe late 50’s/early 60’s but she has definitely aged beautifully. Let’s not downplay her appearance, she doesn’t look like she’s in her 40’s and that’s not a bad thing. Aging is a beautiful process.

before anyone says anything, us somali people have incredibly shiny and reflective eyes when we are young that makes us susceptible to arcus senilis when we are older. it changes our eye colour to blue. we can see fine, its just a trait we carry in our genome.
