Facts are a naked bike is best for cruising and commuting and overall riding, but a supermoto is exactly what you want when hooligan fun is the goal. The Mono RVE is the best purchase I've made in years. The grin I have when I ride it, only my Grom comes close to being as much fun.

In all honesty for the price of that SMCR you can get a brand new MT09 SP. In my opinion it's a way better bike.

Supermoto is life! The 698 is my next bike. Out of all 4 of my bikes my 250 supermoto is the most fun.

I almost got a Yamaha mt07, it's a very smooth bike & has great acceleration too.

I'm not ready to purchase a bike yet. For now, I just want to buy gear and earn my license. Thinking about how to pay for all that makes me more anxious than thinking about possible dangers on the road. I love the Street Triple 765RS. It is an awesome handling bike but there are a few torquier middleweights like the 890R or GSX8R.

I have either owned or ridden a heap of motos, dual sports, nakeds and sports bikes. I’m really curious of lightweight rally bikes like the Kove450 Just feel like with a 2 sets of wheels, ties and sprockets those things could rock on so many levels.

All the components on the 690 smcr is from top shelf compared to the rest.

Go ride slicks in the dirt……You’d be surprised how good they do off road. Had both my supermotos on Mx tracks!

id also pick supermoto, but a naked is my fav 2nd bike to have, a small crf110/klx110 would be my 3rd bike.

Supermoto are the best for supermoto, hence the name lol. Naked bikes are great all around for the street. Two completely different machines and types of riding.

If Yamaha released a WR450X and kept it in the lower 300s of lbs I’d be in heaven. If they released a 700cc thumper to compete with KTM & Co. and the Ducati? Endless orgasm. Honda too but Yamaha usually goes beefier. The WR250X is a tough little mofo with a little race engine.Supermoto revolution. Unstoppable.

I have a '22 ktm 890 duke R and a '23 ktm 690 smcr. Hands down the 890 duke is a much more fun bike. Handles better than the sumo and so much more power, 121 hp vs 74. Only weighs 50 pounds more also. The sumo is a fun bike but doesn't have the power and speed of the 890. I plan on selling the sumo next spring.

Naw I'd rather have a double over a single any day but supermotos are where it's at.
