Honestly it feels like This arc really began with Abbadons introduction and partially the Men of Letters in season 8. If she didn’t appear there’d be no reason for the Mark or what follows

So..Cain is played by Tim Omundson. You may know him as King Richard in Galavant or Carlton in Psych. BTS tidbit..one of the fellas in the fight scene in Cain's kitchen is Jensen's stunt guy.

11:14 The guy fighting Dean in this scene is Jensen’s stunt double.. he actually hurt himself really bad during this scene, when he jumped in the room.. I believe he hit his head on the top of the door frame, but he kept going with the scene.. Jensen tells this story at one the SPN conventions.. I remember him saying that guy injured himself really bad..

Agreed! Why did they never bring that up? Also weren’t the brothers family also directly decent from Cain’s line and Able’s line? Wasn’t that why heaven conspired with the cupids to get Mary & John together because of their bloodlines?

3:09, Dean right here reminds me of “evil Superman” in Superman 3 with Christopher Reeves.. the scene where he is at the bar all drunk and looking disheveled and depressed.. you can just tell that Dean is dealing with his fallout with Sam in a darker way than usual.. he’s feeling the weight of being told that people around him always get hurt, or worse, dead..

I know the actor for Cain best from the procedural sitcom Psych. Great show. He kicks ass in both roles. 😄

I just loved Cain. loved how different the actor looked from his days on phych. and i loved the layering of Sam and Dean with Cain and Able just like with Michael and Lucifer. its all about the brother drama in supernatural, lol.

I enjoyed this episode as well, seeing Dean work with Crowley, and Sam work with Cas. It's refreshing to see the brothers play off of different characters, and have these different dynamics. Dean and Crowley work great, and this episode does some much needed work to establish more of a relationship with Sam and Cas, which to me has always felt kinda hollow; we are told they care about each other, but rarely really see it. There's a lot of potential in Sam and Cas' relationship, they have SO much they could talk about, but that potential feels very overlooked ... That, or it would be too expensive to shoot, given the amount of goofing around that would happen if you put Jared and Misha in more scenes together 😂

You surprised me dropping this vid early today, yay! I am way more on board with Cain than I was with Zeke. I am very excited to see how this all plays out. Crowley is just fun as always in this episode!! Timothy Omundson (Kane) was on Days of Our Lives, but before Jensens time. And a side note, my hubby likes peanut butter banana sandwiches too, but he really likes peanut butter/mayo/lettuce. In the 41 years we have been married he has yet to convince me they are better than a PBJ. (edited the spelling of Cain because I was wrong but in my defense when I think of Kane in association with Jensen or the supernatural I see 'Kane' (as in Christian) :) )

Knock off Hugh Jackman?! Them’s fighting words. Love Timothy Omundson, he’s such a great actor. Add to that, the fact that he had a stroke and as soon as he was able to he got back to work in any way he could and has kept fighting because he loves what he does so much. Such an inspiration.

4:00 I love peanut butter and banana sandwiches too! Have you ever tried a peanut butter and honey sandwich? Saur good! Peanut butter, banana and honey is also good.. my mom used to mix peanut butter and syrup in a bowl for us when I was little and we would dip bread in that, and that is another good way to try it. You just put a glob of peanut butter in a bowl and add enough pancake syrup to make it like a thin paste.. you can make it thick or thin, just depends on how you like it. Highly recommend all of the above though! ☺️💖🙌🏼🥜🍌🍯😋🤤
