Season 1: Ghosts Season 2: Demons Season 3: Lilith Season 4: Angels Season 5: Demon Blood Season 6: Sam's Mind Shattering Season 7: Leviathan Season 8: Angel and Demon Tablet Season 9: Fallen Angel Season 10: The Pentagram Season 11: The Darkness Season 12: The Men Of Letters Season 13: The Nephlim/Jack's Eye Season 14: Michael's Wings Season 15: The Empty
Glad I'm not the only one who thought of that, only sad the creators didn't. I actually kind of expected stuff such as this to be part of the final finale but, alas, no. There wasn't even a The Road So Far in the final episode, which kind of ruined the finality of the finale to me (among other stuff), I know there were two separate scenes featuring the original and cover of Carry On My Wayward Son, but still.
Am I the only one who thinks the title cards for season 4 would have suited better for season 5, and season 5's for season 4? Like, the blood and heart beat just goes so well with the whole demon blood and Sam's powers in s4. While the season 4 title card is kinda haunting and terrifying with that scream - like an apocalyptic world in s5.
well thats very possible as each title card tends to be either a clue to how the boys save the day or whomever is the "big bad" or major plot story. So i feel that either 15 is related to the gunshot or something firey like Hell or the Empty as there is def heat at the center.
yo in season 15 title card its kind of a mix of the 14 preview seasons title cards, if you pause each frame, you will find elements related to season 14, 13, 12, 10, 9 (the wings are clearly there), season 8, 7, 4 and season 3 too.
Season 1 0:01 Season 2 0:04 Season 3 0:09 Season 4 0:16 Season 5 0:22 Season 6 0:29 Season 7 0:35 Season 8 0:40 Season 9 0:46 Season 10 0:51 Season 11 0:56 Season 12 1:02 Season 13 1:07 Season 14 1:14 Season 15 1:21
My fave intro is s9 cause i remember thinking 'oh...oh this is different......', it's so much more interesting with the wings than just the letters ! This is where the story gets amazing imo. But the coolest is s13, it's so beautiful !!
If you slow down the gram for season 15 it has the soul coming out of hell than cosmic beings followed by the amulet glowing so it’s hinting towards good ending maybe because that’s followed by an explosion
Season 2: Explosive title card with the demon sounds as if they are coming up from hell. Also I love how the A in the title turns into a pentagram with the sound of a heartbeat in the background Season 3: A jump scare title card with a dark cloud and thunder. As if there's a darkness coming to engulf the world Season 4: Bone chilling title card as if this season contains a lot more murder by humans rather than demonic presence with the knife sound and a woman screaming This is why these three title cards are still my favourites
Somebody else overanalysed these in the comments so thought I'd do the same. Anyhow, my review (spoilers inbound): 15: Very unique and satisfying. Beats out Season 9 by its ingenuity and all the easter eggs/references it has if you pause it at various points. 9: The burning wings portray the fallen angels theme excellently, and the incoming flames with high-pitched angel radio slowly getting louder are just A+. 13: Beautifully-executed intro and representation of the season's themes with Jack and Apocalypse world. Gives me Eye of Sauron vibes. 3: Still an absolute classic. I think of Supernatural and usually this is the opening that most comes to mind. The sound, demon trap and smoke effects are iconic. Also the only title card to use a purple/pink-ish colour scheme. 5: Another simple but effective one, the ink-like burst of blood is really striking and hammers in the show's horror elements quite nicely. Admittedly I'm a bit biased here since red and white is my favourite colour combination. 6: The horrific roar and shattering glass portraying the wall in Sam's head collapsing are just perfect. Almost as iconic to me as the Season 3 OP. 8: Fantastic theme representation along with super sleek sound design and text, what's not to love? 2: Simple but effective. Really invokes the feel of hellfire and brimstone, especially with the slow harrowing scream you can hear near the end. 7: I'm a bit split on this one. The sound effects and leviathan blood splash are great, but the bland background and text zoom-out animation at the end kinda kill it for me. 10: Pretty nice. Somewhat uninspired but I can't complain. The use of the black and white smoke effects is cool. 12: Too much of a Season 10 intro re-hash, plus the British Men of Letters were probably the shittiest villains of the entire series. 11: Given the quality and huge scope of this season with God and The Darkness, this one was pretty bland and dissapointing tbh. 4: Very unsatisfying and kinda static to me. Decent attempt at representing the angel theme tho. 1: Not much to say, it's basic. Then again this was only the first season so... 14: As others have pointed out, looks too amateurishly thrown together. Also the flames at the start look extremely out of place.
I don't really enjoy The Winchesters very much, but I am still a fan and supporter of this series and would like to see more spin-off projects in the future, it's a big Universe and it could be fun to see certain things come out of it.
When I was a kid I used to watch my parents watching the show and I remember a specific intro and it's not even there, like the text was white and the background black, and it was a glitching styled intro. But it's not like the one that we see at first, it's like the one at 0:28. I don't know, it's weird maybe a made up memory

Top 5 Best ones 1 - Season 4 (The scream of agony is creepy as hell) 2 - Season 8 (The Mistery about this intro is pretty good) 3 - Season 9 (The fallen wings Burning is pretty amazing and fits the most with the theme of Season) 4 - Season 15 (The only one good post Season 10 and one of creepiest along Season 4) 5 - Season 8 (the mix of white background and Leviathan's black blood is decent) Top 5 worst 1 - Season 14 (Ugly and a worse version of Season 9) 2 - Season 11 (The concept of Generic in an opening) 3 - Season 10 (Eh. Nothing special) 4 - Season 3 (The weirdest of the original five Seasons) 5 - Season 5 (Expected more from the "final and Apocalipse" Season)
Sorry if I am missing the obvious, but does each introduction represent the season's main storyline or just some cool introduction? Here's what I got from each so far: Season 1: The Genesis of Supernatural, no universal messes, just brothers who are hunters hunting ghosts. Season 2: Foreshadowing of hell being free and exposed to the world at the end. Season 3: I don't know what this one means. Season 4: A girl is screaming. I mean this is the season that introduced Castiel, of course girls would be screaming now that there's 3 handsome guys sharing screentime in the series. Season 5: I don't know what this one means. Is similar to Season 4 so I suppose it have something to do with the Apocalypse. Season 6: A cool foreshadowing of the Sam's mind shattering. Season 7: Leviathans, what else? Season 8: The tablets. The demon one to be more precise because the color of the letters is orange just like the demise of a demon. Season 9: The fallen angels. Season 10: The logo of Supernatural, a reminder that the series have been around for a decade. Season 11: The darkness. Season 12: Man of Letters. Season 13: Nephilim's eyes, Jack's eyes. Mixed with the background of the apocalyptic world. Season 14: Wings of Michael from the apocalyptic world and the vessel being possessed by the archangel. Season 15: I don't know what this one means.
Season 3 means Lilith, queen of demons and patron of witches. Season 4 is the angels' voices, coupled with angel feathers. Season 10 is a devil's trap sliced in half, representing Demon Dean with the First Blade.
You know when your building something in minecraft and your like hmm how can i make this cooler and just add more of the same for hope of detail yea that's essentually what 14s title card was, them just adding a nother circle of fire to make it look cool
My review of the title cards I like: 2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15 I don't like: 1, 4, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14 Worst to best: 14, 7, 12, 5, 4, 10, 1, 11, 2, 13, 9, 8, 6, 15, 3 14 7 12 5 4 10 1 11 2 13 9 8 6 15 3 From here on out, spoilers, beware 14: looks the most shoddily made, just a rehash of season 9 title card but a million times worse 7: never liked white background title cards, this is the worst one, good representation of the main villains, but the villains are shit, explosion of black goo looks ridiculous 12: too similar to seasons 3 and 10, main villains are absolute garbage 5: white background, doesn't represent the theme of the season (apocalypse), would be better for season 4 4: white background, doesn't represent the main threat/villain (sam's demon blood power/lilith/ruby), supposed to represent angels, but looks like generic crows (much better in season 9) 10: looks pretty good, not too shoddily made, but too similar to season 3 IMHO 1: i've been spoiled by elaborate looking title cards, this one is too simple 11: not much happens in this one, represents the big bang, not sure how well represents the main villain (darkness) 2: simple and neat, hellfire, but doesn't stand out that much to me 13: now we're getting better, main theme (Jack/dimension portals) represented extremely well, looks quite badass 9: the best representation of the angelic theme 8: from this point on title cards showcase the horror origins of the series the best. The burning letters of the angel and demon tablets look sleek and very satisfying 6: opens up with a very satisfying sounding monstrous roar, the piece of glass flying towards the audience creates a feeling of danger, and it was nice to return to black background title cards (which also represent the main theme of the season better) after the shitshow of seasons 4 and 5 15: didn't think this one would be that good, special effects of 2019, baby! At this point of the season could represent many things: opening of the hell portals, the empty, sam's/god's gunshot wound, and it represents all these things amazingly. Has a lot of freeze frame easter eggs, much more than all previous seasons title cards combined 3: i am completely biased here, because i'm not even sure how well this one represents the main villains and their plan (i don't even remember them, the only thing i remember about season 3 is dean's deal with hell), but the explosion with the skeletal hands and the pentagram IS THE SHIT, and the color theme and smoke effect after that are no slouches. The ABSOLUTE BEST sound effect.
Season 4 (Best) Season 5 Season 7 Season 2 Season 13 Season 15 Season 11 Season 9 Season 10 Season 12 Season 8 Season 6 Season 3 Season 14 Season 1 (Worst)
