Short summary of what supernatural is for those that dont know:
This television drama is about the two Winchester brothers, Sam and Dean, who were raised by their father, John, to hunt and kill all things that go "bump in the night" after his wife, Mary, was murdered by an evil supernatural being when the boys were young. 22 years later the brothers set out on a journey, fighting evil along the way, to find their recently missing father who, when they finally meet up with, reveals he knows what killed their mother, a demon, and has found a way to track and kill it. Meanwhile, Sam starts to develop frightening abilities that include death visions, visions of people dying before it actually happens. These visions are somehow connected to the demon who murdered his mother and its mysterious plans that seem to be all about Sam. When their father dies striking a deal with the very same devil that had killed his wife, the brothers, now alone and without their mentor, are determined to finish the crusade their father started. But disturbing revelations about Sam's part in the demon's apocalyptic plans are presented when John's dying last words to Dean are revealed.

That's another thing. Remeber back when it was a super big mystery as to how Angels were being killed off? First it's implied that only archangels carry the blades then it turned into every angel in existance has one. Even then the story turned into where you can drain their power by making a tiny cut on their neck. I miss the old days when the baddies took more than a simple stab literally anywhere on the body to die.

It'd kinda be stealing, and Sam more than anybody knows that power like that probably has to come with a price. He was ready to give it back until he realized the guy was a murderer. Besides, half is body is probably numb from it electrifying the heck out of him, he might've known it was too dangerous. Also it's probably way, way heavier than they made it look, in which case getting out of there would be tricky lugging that thing, he probably used all he had just to swing it around. Remember at this point he had to get out fast.

I loved that episode! Sam is unstoppable! Everyone loves to say Dean is the better hunter but I think they are evenly matched. Sam just gets hit in the back of the head alot when someone gets him from behind.

These are definitely some good Badass Sam moments! I was a little disappointed though that we didn't get any scenes from Season 11, Episode 17, "Red Meat". I mean, that entire episode was practically a tribute to Sam's badassery! Still though, this was a good compilation. :)

One of my favorites is this season (14) when he pronounces that there will be no new King of Hell, and anyone who has a problem with that can go through him, *and those demons actually flee in fear of Sam, respecting him as the new de facto King of Hell.* That was super badass. And the fact that it happened in Detroit of all places is just the cherry on top.

All of these Marvel-based assumptive comments about Mjölnir (and Thor) are getting my goat a bit, honestly. This version of Mjölnir is based more on the actual Norse mythology of the hammer. No, Mjölnir is not some infinitely dense hammer forged from the heart of a star, and can only be picked up by “someone who is worthy.” It’s more or less a mega weapon that can only be wielded by someone with the required physical constitution and overall power, lest he/she be disintegrated by the power of the hammer itself. It can be picked up by anyone with enough oomf, but it can only be wielded by someone with the sufficient *caliber* to do so; not moral “worthiness.” And yes, you can be downright evil and wield Mjölnir, if you’re first able to 1) take/steal the hammer away from it’s owner, Thor (like Thrym did, in Thor’s sleep,) or 2) you are physically powerful enough to do so.

I do love when Famine tells Sam he can eat his bodyguards and they all look at each other like "Ahh shit, we should've stayed back where we came from." Also seeing him again reminds me how much I liked Famine's episode. I don't know but seeing those people in the dinner going nuts and fucking each other, swallowing whole bottles of pills (I wonder what they really were, like what they used for the pills since obviously they couldn't use actual drugs), the chick stuffing cash in her bra. It tickled a funny part of my brain. Though the french fry thing was just a bit weird though. Like, I get the hunger thing but surely there were other things around the guy could've stuffed himself with that WEREN'T stuck in a vat of boiling oil.

one of my favourite moments in the series was when sam and dean are captured by the secret service and have to fight their way out showing just how good they are and how effective all their training is. i feel this isn't shown to good effect in most of the series because most of the time the things they fight are way stronger than them and they usually win through luck, outside interference more than purely off their own backs.

Mjolnir. Thor's hammer. An ancient weapon of the Nordic Gods so incredibly badass that even non-Pagans know of it's existence. Something so iconic that tales of it and it's master were adapted and re-imagined into Marvel Comics. And Sam Winchester only used it for one fucking episode and then never again!

How about in 11x17 Red Meat, when Sam gets shot and left for dead in a cabin in the middle of the woods, and he comes out of shock, kills two werewolves, walks all the way back to Baby, drives to the hospital, and kills another werewolf WHILE HE'S STILL BLEEDING OUT FROM THE GUNSHOT WOUND. Just your periodic reminder that Sam Winchester is incredibly dangerous.

Supernatural News because Sam isn't only one who can use it unlike MCU and some Norse mythology it's not as much worthy and you can use it. Plus Thor's still alive he will return for it which they mention in that episode.
