I can't imagine how heart broken Homelander must've felt when he heard about Super Sonic's death. I once even saw the 2 of them hanging out on a roof of a building just the night before his death announcement. I gets SS was about to tell HL about his problems but didn't have enough courage to say it. It was truly lamentable since they were such good friends.

Yeah guess rehab wasn't enough. You know sometimes I still wonder how he died, they say that rehab was too much for him so he kicked the bucket but we never actually saw him go into rehab, and with what starlight said in that previous live stream, along with her secretly recording homelander I'm starting to think something more suspicious is going on. I know she was in hysteria, but why would they run lines with her when she in such a psychotic state?

Also why would he bring up Hughie? They've been over for a while now. While the part about Soldier Boy was absolutely ridiculous and he died an American hero she just left an extremely traumatic scenario which probably pushed her into telling the truth. I actually read on Facebook that the 7 were sent by hell to destroy our Christian rights. They didn't provide much evidence but I believe it.

His early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when "License to drive" came out in '03, I think he really came into his own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Supersonic has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. I think his undisputed masterpiece is "You Got Your License To Drive(Me Crazy)", a song so catchy, that most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about Supersonic himself.

Another child star musician lost to opioids. The awareness really needs to be spread, there are so many dangerous factors in taking drugs like lacing with fentanyl, addiction, gang activities, extreme debt etc. It's really sad we lost Supersonic at the start of his career just when he had made it. I remember during my internship at Vought, I would hear Supersonic and Starlight listening to this masterpiece at full volume!😂😂😂😂 I once saw Homelander walking past their room and just rolling his eyes and giving me that slight smile😂😂, it was such an experience!! I was tasked to just "check if everything is fine" by Mrs. Barrett herself! She seemed to be a bit distracted by all this chaos that has been going on for a while now, but she surely is able to handle it and despite my lesser role at Vought it felt heartwarming, learning how leveled and natural our heroes are! R.I.P Supersonic😔😔

R.I.P Supersonic. I can remember a time when it was my 18th birthday there were some supes around, a huge audience, backstage, girl dancers, and the A-Train. But I was missing the lead singer and tried calling a few to offer them to sing on my birthday but neither one was available at the time. Then moments later Supersonic called and asked if I was having a birthday problem, so he took the offer and sang on stage for me. He was my number one hero, I never felt so alive. You will be missed Supersonic.

I remember meeting Supersonic once after a show in downtown LA. Most wholesome, wholesome and grounded dude I've ever met. We chatted for like 5 minutes about nothing and everything, and I even took a photo with him. We were both huge Homelander fanboys, and I'm sure his brief time working with him was a blast. He totally crushed it in American Hero, I voted for him every episode. So glad his dreams finally came true, even for a short time. R.I.P. Supersonic 🕊️

My sister and I used to be so obsessed with Supersonic when we were younger, (back when he was called Drummer Boy) we had all his songs memorised but this one was our favourite. She recently committed suicide and despite Homelander’s brave efforts, he was too late to save her. I don’t think I will be able to listen to this song ever again now that Supersonic is gone too. 😭😭 🤍💙💔

Nah. Supersonic should've dealt with the breakup like a mature adult, and supported his friend for trying to achieve her dream of getting into the Seven. Instead what does he do? I can't believe drugs took another amazing hero. I will always love "Rock My Kiss". Maybe if he had opened up to one of his new teammates, maybe they could have helped him.
