Sorry but Ronald is right! We are doing the Jeff Beck version from 73. Here is the info from Wikipedia about the song. The supergroup Beck, Bogert & Appice recorded Jeff Beck’s version of “Superstition” on their self titled 1973 album “Beck, Bogert & Appice”. The song had originated out of a jam session between Jeff Beck and Stevie Wonder, with Beck introducing Wonder to the song's iconic opening drum part. In return for Beck's work on Talking Book, Wonder had given the song to Beck to record and release as his own single, however delays in the release of the Beck, Bogert & Appice album meant that Wonder's version was released first. I think we're both right, but I know for sure we're doing the Jeff Beck version. Both are awesome. I especially like Stevie Wonders drumming on his version!
@DamJam2014 I understand what you are saying. However, Ronald says that Jeff Beck wrote the song Superstition for Stevie Wonder. Your answer to me says that Beck introduced Wonder to the opening drum part. Wikipedia confirms that but also says that Stevie wrote the rest of it. At best, Ronald is a little bit right. Wikipedia also lists the writer of the song as Stevie. Anyway, I really enjoy the Neighborhood Picnic Band's version of the song. Thank you very much!
