"YOu CAn't Run boAT Oil in an Air COOleD MoToR" 🤣🤣 With a lower flash point (150C ish) it should have burned a little cleaner. The oil looked pretty thin to start with. I didn't expect to see a good film, but the carbon after such a short run is a deal breaker. Nice video!
Thanks Mr. Flagg, it's going to get another shot at 32:1 just for morbid curiosity. i really want to change my testing procedures before i go full bore on oil testing, i'd really like to include wear testing but i need to build a tester first.
Tho I haven't used the Echo version, those heads are miserable for sure👎🏻 It didn't outright kill it is about the best I can say for the super tech TC-W3 at 50:1😬 I've noticed atleast with castor 927, it seems to leave less deposits in engines at 32:1 than at leaner ratios (40-45:1). Not sure if other oils behave similarly. Excited to see the oil tests continue! As you have the time of course😁👍🏻
I think i will be doing tests differently just because the way i test isnt an ideal scenario. I want to test wear, 2 gallons through a saw being used for tree service, and a flame test to see how cleanly/quickly they burn.
