Just an extended version of the main parts of the song. I tried making the cuts invisible but the tone of the song varies so some cuts are noticeable, but do blend into the song still.
still a timeless classic track after all these years, i was fortunate to see roger hodgson at royal albert hall in 2023 what a memorable evening it was he did all the Supertramp hits i was bawling my eyes out it was so emotional. there will never be another band like these such a pleasure to listen to absolutely amazing music
When a song can bring you back and revisit a time in your life that has meaning…. It’s a great song! Not all songs are great songs to me but I can sure enjoy them:) I love music!
When this song came out I wondered why it was written. It seemd so rudiculous. Fast forward to todays world where fanatics and cry babies complain about every little problem.
Music will replace everything that you come to lose, miss or simply never have-& Music is the medicine of the future: thanks for sharing this beautiful song 🎶💚🎶
I heard super tramp when they first came out and what struck me was that they were doing klemser music in the beginning, but I could hear that there was more to this band. Then I heard Them again in 1975 and I heard what they were actually becoming. By 1978-1979 they were fully exploring the sound for breakfast in America. Very cool transition. I've loved them ever since then.
No puedo creer que todos los comentarios, son todo lo que yo quiero expresar, que viva la buena musica, porque lo actual no se le puede llamar música, con ciertas excepciones... vivan los 70's 80's y 90' de ahi para acá poca música buena
This song is my favourite song ever since i heard it. Totally resonates 😂🤣 wish i have peers that like the 80's sand the 90's just listening and chillin' having funny jokes too😂🤣😎
I have to say that the 80’s was the epic for the real music Galera os anos 80 foi uma década que nunca vai ser esquecida Como tmbm a década de 70 Para quem nasceu nos anos 60 Uma geração que teve tudo o que nenhuma geração jamais terá Onde moro hoje EUA tem uma infinidade de rádio fm que só toca essas relíquias E a galera boa parte não sabe I que essas músicas significa Agradeço a Deus por ter nascido e curtido essas músicas Um forte abraço a todos que curte o um só da hora
I love what youve done with this extended version. It always ends to early, and i have to replay it. A Genius and passionate piece of songwriting. 🎶👍👦👍🎶
This song always have been a favorite of mine.i always thought it ended 2 soon.thank u 4 this extended version.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤it❤❤❤❤❤❤❤it❤❤❤❤❤❤❤it.and thats logical 2 me.
When I was young It seemed that life was so wonderful A miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical And all the birds in the trees Well they'd be singing so happily Oh joyfully, oh playfully watching me But then they sent me away To teach me how to be sensible Logical, oh responsible, practical And then they showed me a world Where I could be so dependable Oh clinical, oh intellectual, cynical There are times When all the world's asleep The questions run too deep For such a simple man Won't you please Please tell me what we've learned I know it sounds absurd Please tell me who I am I said now what would you say Now we're calling you a radical A liberal, oh fanatical, criminal Oh won't you sign up your name We'd like to feel you're acceptable Respectable, oh presentable, a vegetable! Take, take, take it But at night, when all the world's asleep The questions run so deep For such a simple man Won't you please Won't you tell me Please tell me what we've learned Can you hear me I know it sounds absurd Why won't you help me But please tell me who I am Who I am, who I am, who I am 'Cause I was feeling so logical Digital One two three four Liberal
Simply outrages , makes me think of all the wonderful times that I had as a young man growing up in the 70s and 80 missing my late wife who I miss dearly , the love of my life ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉
This song is a huge part of my childhood. A summer day taken to a amusement park (fantasy island). The adults separated us kids, in different cars with at least one parent. I fucking loved fantasy island.. at the time i was 8 so.. my mom was the only undrugged adult in our lives.. my life is a novel
The music from the 1980's back was all memorable. Today, im hardpressed to remember anything released. It is in a word Rubbish. There is no character in modern 'Muzak' even music made today by our heroes from previous decades is garbage by comparison (McCartney a good example) the last good album was 2005's "Chaos & Creation". It just seems impossible for a great song to be written now.
Supertramp/Rodger Hodgson, was and still is in my opinion one of the best band's of all time. I am now in my mid 50s, and I started to listen to supertramp since I was 5 years old, my brother was 7 years older than me so I listened to them through my brother and I am so glad I did because they're music has saved my life, thank you Rodger Hodgson ❤❤❤
The lengthening of this song really doesn't do anything for the song. It really just becomes repetitive. You might as well just play this gorgeous song again from the beginning.
The days went you had to listen to the radio and hoped your favorite song got played, or waited for the weekend to listed to Casey Kasum's American top 40, seems like yesterday but geez it was a long ago
