@@OliverDiGeronimo009Stihl treats air filtration as after thought just like this saw. Husqvarna meanwhile has a well engineered filtration system that eliminates 90% of the particulates ever even reaching the filter. Even poulan has a better system than stihls.

Excellent, and very comprehensive review! We appreciate you taking the time to produce this video. As you stated, not much information on this specific chainsaw. Your information will help others make an informed decision on purchasing this saw! Looking forward to seeing future videos!

Nice review. I have the cheaper supmix. They're 54.5cc not 62, it doesnt really matter but a real 62cc saw will smoke it. You're pulling the saw over way too hard, it has a spring assist easy pull starter, pull super easy like your arm is broken and it will start right up. This feature bugs some people but I like it, once you get used to barely pulling on the pull rope it's nice.

I bought one of the blue and white ones over the summer. Amazon delivered it with a corner of the box crushed and I didn't think it was a big deal until I discovered the blade studs were bent. I ended up getting a full return from Amazon and they let me keep the saw, then I discovered those does just screwed out at the time when I did the return process I thought they were retained from inside the crank case. So I repaired it easily. I'm about 3 tanks in and so far it's been great. Plenty of power for the 20" blade and I'm sure it could handle more. The spring assist starting is awesome, I noticed in your video you didn't seem to use it. Just pull the cord slowly until you feel the tension build and then just a bit more and it cranks super easy. Mine usually starts in about three pulls or less, I used it yesterday for the first time In a couple of months and it actually started in two pulls total. I'm still running it on a 25:1 mix for break in, I'm curious to see what it will do with a bit leaner mix and a retune. It's probably not actually 62cc, but whatever size the engine is it has a lot of power for the weight of the saw.

Very good review. I’ve owned this chainsaw for about 5 months now and I don’t use it too often. I put at least 6 tanks of gas through it and it’s a pretty good saw. The chain is crappy though but that is to be expected.

bought this saw last december. you can pull the chord very slowly and when it reaches the end it will rev itself. never had the issue with the on/off switch because i just pull it up slowly and bring it down slowly. processed maybe 20 trees with it. still running great after a year. the saw is a clone of an old echo so i bought a cheap 2 dollar echo tensioner off ebay. now i can tighten the chain from the side instead of the front like a stihl. plan to use it a lot at work this winter before writing a real review. will be bucking and splitting wood for months so we will see how it holds up.

Appreciate the straight up unbiased review. The only comment I might add, having a Similar saw in the Salem Master 6220H, These saws might just fool you with their capabilities. I easily upgraded to a 22" Bar and chain for Both cut depth and Reach when bucking. Less bending is always better. The 62cc saws easily handle most hardwoods to 30"+ with good cutting techniques and I have cut several Trunks up to 38". Keeping the Chain in good condition is Key to a good day in the wood. My 62cc has cut up about 5 cords of 18"+ Black Walnut, 30"-38" Tulip poplar, and a 24" green oak since March. I use a smaller49cc 4 stroke Senix 18" saw for most of the smaller rounds. 18 total cords cut, transported and stacked for splitting.

I purchased the blue and white version of this saw new in the box on marketplace for $80. I have a half dozen other saws, all Husqvarna and Stihl and much larger. My brother and I have been wondering how these inexpensive saws perform and for the price this seemed like a good way to get one in hand. .....so I was looking for a couple reviews on this model and found yours. I watch alot of product reviews and have maybe left a comment on one or two out of hundreds.... But I wanted to make sure to thank you for your excellent review of this product. It was informative and well produced and I'm confident it was 100% honest. Seeing a review that is more than an unboxing is always a good thing but most turn into someone trying to hard and putting the focus on themselves more than the product. You highlighted the important things that people should consider prior to purchase and didn't get too technical with a bunch of time spent on specifications and head to head contests with products 4-7x more expensive. Your video was well narrated and well edited and was one of the best I've seen on any product. Thanks again for taking the time to post this review, it's something you should be very proud of.

I got one of these a few weeks ago, runs and starts great and will eat anything you throw at it, I dont have to sharpen as much as a saw with an oregon chain. Keep sharp, file the rakers a bit and it tears through everything. used it a handful of times and happy with it!

I also have a China saw as a backup, its not a pro saw , but i really like it, and i did actually ...( change the muffler) so it dosen't get so hot. And as you say , keep the chain sharp, clean it regular...and it actually is a good home saw . Once again, they are not pro , not made for run 4-8 hours straight, each day. But for that price , i will actually try 16 tums blade and see how it handle it . Great review 👍👍👍

Spare parts should be ordered from a Chinese online store, e.g. a circuit breaker costs 50 cents. It's a good idea to replace that breaker with a low rocker model, they are also available as self-resetting, meaning that the ignition current comes back on after switching off. Starter rope wheels have sometimes been replaced with these, it costs about $1.50 in China. 🙂

I was just about to pull the trigger on the Proyama for $299, but this one popped up on sale on Amazon for $179.99 CAD with another 5% discount and this looks to take the same chain and bar as my 42cc Homelite I've been getting by with for years, so I'm going to give it a shot.

I’ve got the blue and white(slightly upgraded model, what’s actually upgraded, IDK - it looks the same). That thing is a champ….. only ever put ethanol free gas in it, and it starts every time I need it. Chews through everything I’ve tried to cut, never had a failure. It runs until it runs out of gas. Ive used more expensive chainsaws, but this thing worked just as good for less than half the price.

I own a couple of these now and I love them. They start right up and have plenty of power. The switch is horribly annoying -- I usually keep my thumb on it when running the saw because it will sometimes just vibrate itself to the off position. But I bought some low profile switches on amazon and installed one of those instead of the toggle style switch. Just had to file a bit of the chassis and plastic cover away to get it to fit but its WAY better now.

The also have a better filter. Same place look for Aumel 5800 paper filter base. You need the one that comes with the black plastic screw down. The others are only the horn filter and plate which isn't enough.

Routine maintenance also includes changing your fuel filter and to prevent hitting the switch start the saw on the ground and not really suppose to drop start a sawjust my opinion though

Your starting problem is because you are starting left handed. You should be doing dropstarting with you holding the saw lefthand on hand hoop and pulling the starter rope with your right hand. The is why the on off switch broke.

You want to be careful using compressed air on an air filter as it can damage/enlarge the filteration holes/ filter membrane. Good video though, much respect and merry Christmas from the uk

Before careful with that switch. I already broke the replacement I installed. But there is a small workaround if the switch breaks off. Keep it in the on position and when you want to turn the saw off pull the choke out and and the engine will die.

These chainsaws come from China where they're still into using non-detergent 30w motor oil. You can run 40:1 with a modern 2-cycle synthetic oil.

I think his issue is that he's used to a saw that doesn't have the spring assist in the recoil. Instead of letting the spring assist do its' job you have the habit of starting it like a normal saw. I've seen a lot of people who bought Stihl MS 180C's with spring assist break the pull starter because they treat it like a normal saw.

03:11....yeah. don't start a $125 chainsaw like this. You are just asking for something to break. No wonder he ripped the toggle switch off the saw. Put it on the ground and give a couple of mellow pulls and it will start right up. This isn't a stihl. Good vid otherwise.
