I've worked with Miss Lea sa theater productions and events. Napaka bait nya. Hindi dapat sya pumunta sa dressing room, usually sa backstage o venue lobby dapat mag pa photo/autograph as protocol/sop.

Simple Fact. The location is inside a Dressing Room. It is just but proper for any dressing room to have Privacy regardless of the status of the person using it. RESPECT is the KEY WORD. IMO, Name Dropping to exert pressure to another person to give way is BAD. I admire Miss Salonga for knowing her right to Privacy and not giving in to any pressure (Name Dropping). Truly, she is a very Professional Media Artist / Personality. Just my 2 cents.

The video showed that Ms.Lea said, can u pls wait for me outside which means she is willing to grant the request. Artists deserve the right to say no especially if they feel and think its not appropriate place or time. And there are days they are still human, still tired from the show and that dressing room is the only space they can have. Even if the fans are at the door,.it is still part of the dressing room.

Sa Pinas kasi there is this norm na hindi ka puedeng humindi kapag gustong magpa picture sa isang artista, kapag hindi ka nagpa picture, hindi ka na mabait. But in the states where Lea is so accustom to, naku hindi ka basta basta magpapa picture sa celebrity ,u have to ask permission, and more often than not, they will decline.
