Hi Alone, seems you had a nice day to travel. Costco, UGG. You will not ever catch me in there or Anchorage. Home Depot, thumbs down, I stopped shopping there about 5 years ago. Lowes and Spenard Builders is my to go places for building materials. That first lake you showed, is beautiful, I have stopped there many many times. The Glenn Highway is much more scenic than the Parks Highway. Going to Homer, the Turnagain Pass is beautiful but, once you are on the Sterling Highway you have got to keep your eyes on the road, it is curvy and people drive ridiculously on there, especially the tourists in their motorhomes and campers. All in All you drive on the Glenn is beautiful.

Hi i am a senior living alone in oshawa, ontario Canada - i don't have cable tv so i watch you tube videos mostly. I just found your channel recently so I've been binge watching - love them! I really admire you and you are a very smart lady. In this episode it appears you have rain away coating on your car window - smart choice! It makes the rain bead on the window. I am wondering if you have deer warning whistles on the front of your car. I hope you do.

HI Karen! Glad to hear that the sound was good. I was worried about it as the rain picked up and was beating on the windshield at the end of the drive. Why is your check engine light on??? Since you drove into Anchorage to shop at Costco, you should consider shopping at Home Depot/Lowes in Anchorage also since it is tax free in Anchorage. Costco gas is the best price in Anchorage. Don't forget there are SBS to buy lumber. I fairly big SBS in Palmer right by the Fairgrounds.

Build yourself a outdoor kitchen area for my chicken coop I just put some old lumber That's heavy enough for me to slide up on the tin roof two-way it down so the wind won't blow it I might be single and do things on my own but it always works and then building one side higher than other one that way the rain and snow would melt off downhill I'm amazed with been single of how many things that I can do on my own no matter what I put my mind to I know God is with me helping me because there was like damn I did that myself and I'm proud of myself that I did it on my own if and if I messed up I only read it again which made it only better and smarter and I didn't have nobody to yell at except for myself if I got it wrong LOL and then being a perfectionist you get it done right I don't have nobody else to yell at

I like Costco for bulk dry goods that you don't have to worry about consuming right away. Even the ones here in UT are a zoo all the time. And gas here is up to like $4.20 per gallon, I cringe whenever I fill up my truck. Costco gas here is usually 15-20 cents per gallon cheaper and it's Top Tier certified gas as well, which is the best quality gas to get.
