Smallholder farmers in Tanzania have faced challenges such as limited market access, unequal price information, inadequate entrepreneurial skills, high transaction costs, and limited access to new processing technologies. The SSUCORETA Project has introduced advanced sunflower oil processing technologies, which have improved business-to-business (B2B) relationships, created employment opportunities for youth, and increased income for smallholder farmers. Anna Leone, a sunflower oil miller in Katesh, Hanang’ District in the Manyara Region, is one of the successful entrepreneurs who have benefited from the SSUCORETA Project's support.
