Surah Al Kahaf || The Cave || Beautiful Recitation
Surah Al-Kahf, the 18th chapter of the Quran, emphasizes the importance of faith, patience, and humility.
The 4 Major themes of Surah Kahf are: 1. Trial of Faith - People of the Cave/ Ashabu Al-Kahf (Verses 9 - 26)
2. Trial of Wealth - The story of the rich and the poor (Verses 32 - 44)
3. Trial of Knowledge - Prophet Musa and Al-Khidr (Verses 60-82)
4.Trial of Power - Dhul-Qar-nayn with Yajuj Majuj (Verses 83-98)
This is the first of those Surahs which were revealed in the third stage (from the fifth to the tenth year) of Prophethood at Makkah. The persecutions of Muslims were severe but migration to Habsha had not yet taken place. Story of the Companions of the Cave who were wakened up from their sleep after hundreds of years.
