Yeah but it is not allowed for someone to recite from behind when imam recites as it says in the Quran except for surah fatiha When the Quran is recited, listen to it attentively and be silent, so you may be shown mercy.
Speedster is right, You are only supposed to recite fatiha only when it is a loud rakah! And when it is a silent rakah then it is absolutely obligatory that you recite fatiha and highly recommended that you recite something after Al fatiha. Jazakallah Hu khairun.
Yes insha'Allah you can follow along with the Imam silently, but try not to disturb those around by being too loud. Also, pay attention to the Imam's recitation as well.
If you are praying as a munfarid (solitary), you must not take external help in the Salah. Best to not use the Salah to train the maqamat as the focus should be solely on worship.
I wonder how people answers when they don't have knowledge. Brother open Quran and see the chapter 7 verse 104 "It says listen to the qur'an when its recited so that you recieve mercy" But yes you can recite surah fatiha because there are some hadees on some sahaba reciting fatiha behind the imam and even Prophet muhammad allowed to recite surah fatiha. But still some scholar say one should not recite anything because Allah says in the Qur'an to stay silent when qur'an is recited. Allah & his Rasool knows best.
@@TariqSalymAzizyes brother but you can recite inwards in your heart because you know the nature of human mind it keeps on shifting now in salah what we need is attention maximum attention so reciting the Quran within your heart will make you focused الله اعلم
