Man, Vini Poncia sure was a good producer! This arrangement is so swingin' cool! That's why "Dynasty" was not the disaster the general public think it was.
You definitely captured the vibe! Dynasty is underappreciated. I've never gotten the hype about Destroyer. To me, this song is about as good as it gets for Kiss. I remember renting the laserdisc with this video on there and just being blown away. All I had ever heard about Dynasty to that point was that it was some awful disco record. There's really not a bad track on it and it's incredibly lively-which one can't say about the production on most of the other 70s Kiss studio albums.
This guy is fantastic on all the parts of this song ever the guitar 🎸 and the rhythm part and definitely the guitar 🎸 solo guy if I was to put a KISS tribute band together I'd definitely pick you seriously myself I play drums 🥁 keep up with your music seriously my jaw literally dropped open when you played the solo parts
Who said KISS couldn't cover multiple genres of the time! : ) What do you like playing best, the Explorer or LP? Have a Happy New Year, and thanks for keeping us stoked with your KISS covers!
I’d love to hear.... Burn Bitch Burn Almost Human Oath Aint Quite Right (Paul Stanley) Tears Are Falling Reason To Live Uh! All Night God Of Thunder I Want You Turn On The Night Lick It Up Put The X in Sex I know that’s alot to list but your covers are phenomenal and I practice vocals using your backing tracks so keep it up! You’re awesome
Great cover - but documenting the tone settings is just as important as the arrangement - you nailed the tone-how did you get it (particularly the solo)?
Love and appreciate your videos, brother. Huge props! This one is a bit challenging, but I'd love to see a demonstration of "Tonight You Belong To Me" from Paul Stanley's 1978 solo album.
