Yeah we spend a week there every year. Catch a lot of Whiting. Some Lady Fish this year as well. One year it was all Catfish and small Sharks for some reason. Caught a good sized Redfish several years ago
Yeah, that's all i usually get since it's so hot at the beach that time of year. Gives me something to do that's more fun than just sitting there, though.
I’m only down there once a year and I have thrown a few but not had any luck. I usually am opting for the passive sit and wait on the beach though. I keep an artificial rod ready just in case I spot a school of fish
