Hi Christy, Thanks for sharing your wonderful card! I'm sure your son will love it! A keepsake from home, made with Love! The critters are beautifully coloured! I'm partial to the Koala for obvious reasons! But, they are all really gorgeous! Oh how I miss Summer! Your background is amazing! One of the Australian RU-vidrs I watch (not a crafter though) lives in Adelaide and her videos have all been gray skies and rain and scarves and coats. Ohh, Christy, I know how hard it is when your first child goes off to start their college/young adult life. I would say it gets easier, but it doesn't. You have to trust that you did your job, and did it well. I for one, am positive that you did. You love your boys, and they know your values and know you love them. Best wishes to your son and your husband and yourself. That is a perfect card to send a young man who has transplanted in CA. JUST LOVE IT. Also the way you added movement to the waves. Stunning.❤

I always enjoy watching your videos! Another great card and I love that you are sending it to your son. I have found motherhood to be so ironic. You raise your children to go and leave you to become successful adults. It is hard for sure!! I am sure he will love the card and know that you are thinking of him!

Again another awesome card!!! It is hard to let them grow up!! Mine are 27 and 29 and I still miss them as little ones who needed me!! But I love that they are grown adults and I’m super proud of them!!

Love the card! I feel you.. my son is going to Oregon 🦆 for school this fall. I’m from the LA area… so many schools here but he wanted to experience living outside Southern California. my heart hurts but I’m so happy for him.

Aw, that is tough, but hopefully he will still be a couple hours from home and you can spend a few weekends and holidays together. It’s so hard seeing them grow up and go off on their own, isn’t it? But they’ve got to spread those wings and fly to transform into who they were meant to be!🦋

I love this card! It is super cute and cheerful. I am sure that your son will treasure it. Your coloring is fantastic and I love the color combinations that you used. That die is amazing, so detailed and realistic. Your critters look fabulous with it. It is so hard to have our children grow and leave the nest. It is important for them to become independent and to become who they were meant to be but it, definitely, pulls at a mother's heartstrings to have them go. My oldest moved to Minnesota from Maryland four years ago and got married. He didn't tell us until they had been married almost two years. We had met the girl and loved her but it was an interesting experience, to say the least. My oldest daughter has moved to Utah, almost a year ago, so I sympathize with what you are going through. Its hard, it will get easier but it will never be the same. Enjoy your younger two while you can. All of mine will be visiting for a week in August so I am excited for that and look forward to having my daughter-in-law home, as well. Another daughter to love! Anyways enough about me. Thank you for sharing your talents and creativity with us. You are a wonderful and inspiring woman. Thank you for your channel and for the light you are to this community. It’s definitely a time of transition and that has its hard moments and it’s beautiful ones. It’s great to text with him and hear the updates as he adjusts and finds his new tribe of friends and classmates. That will be so wonderful having all your kids home at once! Oh my gosh, this is so adorable!! They changed the time to an hour later, so I have my nose pressed up against my screen, saying Open, Open, Open like those old Mervyns commercials lol. I had been holding out hope that HB would have a UK stockist, as I found the minimum order value and shipping costs very prohibitive (Brexit- the gift that keeps on giving 😭!) Now that HB are moving to a subscription model, I doubt that I'll ever be able to purchase any of their products. It's such a shame, as they are definitely my favourite brand, and, whilst I love all their stamp designs, I find those featuring cats particularly captivating, as, beyond simply being cute, these cats are shown in very realistic poses and actions- qualities that I have yet to see in cat stamps by other brands. I shall simply have to admire HB from afar, and continue to enjoy your videos showcasing their products. Thank you for your wonderful and inspiring videos ❤!

It might be worth a try to contact either local or UK online shops and ask them if they can get their hands on Hello Bluebird. Getting together with some other people to place an order together would also work but unless you have good crafty friends that kind of thing can be risky if you do it with strangers. Sometimes it really sucks to not live in the US. I will forever mourn the fact that I had to buy a white Spellbinders Platinum 6 even though I dislike white because the black one was only sold in the US and would have cost 300€ to ship!!

I totally understand! I’m hoping that the shipping costs on these kits might be more affordable for you international girlies, but I have yet to hear any pricing to confirm or deny this. Hopefully we’ll know more after the release tonight!🙂

I’m in the US but this new kit/subscription model is FAR too out of my price range. I’m beyond sad because I don’t think I’ll be able to buy from Hello Bluebird any more and it’s one of my favorite brands. And I love certain parts a LOT but I can’t justify spending $160 (plus tax and shipping etc) because I like a portion of a release. Several companies are moving to something like this so they must find it sells or works somehow for them, but I don’t get it. I’m not one to usually complain - but I really appreciate companies that enable a variety of purchasing options for customers, which I would think would help sales, but I know decisions aren’t taken lightly. I love the Hello Bluebird style and just have to love the many stamps and dies I already have I guess. I love your videos and the styel of cards that you make. I was hoping that after the initial kit selling that maybe they would break things up to sell individually but it doesn’t sound like that is how this new model will work, sadly. I wish them well and hope they stay in the game at least.

It’s the Pressure Pal from Twiddler’s Nook on Etsy. I love it and the business is owned by a fellow crafter. It comes in a few colors I think. I might have a link in the description bar unless I forgot to add it. I’ll check when I get on my computer!🙂
