Great show and interview and its a damn shame that Jan and Dean are not in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!!!! They are the founders and inspiration for Surf Music. A genre of music that is loved and appreciated by all as well as opened the doors for others.

What a great interview, I grew up in the Midlands in the UK so far from any surfing beach, listening to Jan and Dean and the Beach Boys in the 60's!

Yes, Jan and Dean should be in the RRHoF. I do take issue with "but the Beach Boys are there!" from the interviewer. For chrissakes, the impact the Beach Boys, specifically Brian Wilson, had is only surpassed by a few bands, and most of them are from "across the pond".
