I remember going snapper fishing with my old man and his mates in South Oz and they'd have a couple of layers of carpet down to muffle the noise. They also never gutted the snapper where they caught them because they reckoned that if snapper see snapper bits they'll never go back to the same location. Not sure how true that is

Between 8 of us over 4 days fishing we kept 6 snapper, 3 kingfish, 2 kahawai, 1 john Dory, 1 Sea Perch and 4 blue cod. Please explain how we exploited this resource? We released 5 kingfish, 4 snapper and a heap of Kahawai. My kids are taught to keep only what we need..... Do your kids eat fish from the supermarket?
