Thx Briggsy for inspiring me! Last week I finally caught my first ever tuna! You made me dream big and it came true! A 30+kg fish landbased on 50 pound braid and 100 pound leader on an 2015 saltiga 5000 and saltiga rod. Still can't believe it! Greetings from Italy ❤️

Yes it is. It's a lot of fun to make bait and a lot of fun to fish with it. For the last two years I have been fishing only with baits that I make myself.

We wanted to but the current was very strong and a lot sharks around. Water was a bit murky and full cloud cover so we decided not to risk it 👍🏽

We don't have GT in the Caribbean but we have Eagle Rays and those are brutally powerful. Even with 65 lbs braid on, they still destroy you!!
