The kids standing around in various places on this set engaged in various aberrant forms of clapping along to whoever was performing. That's my main memory of watching this program.

So the intro is the Ventures Diamond head from 1965 is that them playing I wonder or is it the surfaris ? Actually listening to it it's all wrong when it comes to the drumming, he's no Mel Taylor. Great clip though
