I like this tripod, it’s the Peak Design one, but honestly it’s not the best for this type of shooting. Even when I was trying to capture the moon it had its limitations. I would get it locked on and let go and it would just start to slowly fade in a random direction.

Hey Dean! For surfing I use the #2 setting, the one with the leopard photo. I find this one works best. It’s supposed to lock on and track and not be bothered by other objects. I find sometimes the focus will wander off and follow a wave, but this one works best. And obviously continuous AF.
