Thanks for the inspiration. I made one of these using the caster off a Ripstik. So fun! I bombed a hill in the rain to test it out and it was a wild ride. Next, I'm going to experiment with different wheelbase lengths and different width back trucks to get it just right.
Nice. I have an idea. Do 3 caster wheels. 1 at the front. 2 at the back. All 3 wheels at a angle. I don't have time to do it myself. Hope you can do it
chubeviewer thanks a lot man, I will try to make another video in english showing my projects and boards to see how it goes :) seriously those comments give me energy, have a good day.
Good job on the video...and the video... nice UFO too. The risers change the caster angle. Also in English those are called casters or caster wheels. Subbed.
Weird thing is, there's a company that makes them. Search... Rekon top surf On eBay. They seem to be completely unkown about in the surfskate community... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KEd7CsiTX5Y.html
I think it would work better with the two wheels in the front and single in the back. Maybe not as a surf trainer but I feel like I'd rather wiggle my back foot.
I have been thinking for years of doing exactly that with some of my boards, and just dismembering one of my waveboards for the front wheel. I'll probably try this winter, while the rain doesn't let me skate... Have you actually tried it on bowls and stuff? Is it much different than a regular surfskate? (Not that I have really tried those either) Or than a waveboard/ripstick? Oh and, do you remember the name of the board some company used to sell with this same concept? Great work, thanks for showing us, I'll keep following your channel 👍
Thanks for the diy angled riser idea, did it with 2 x 1/8in soft risers, cut one in half and managed to get 3 risers worth of wedge. On other side of baseplate, the baseplate stops just before it touches deck, floating by about 2mm.
Raiuga Aguiar Santos gravity do the work for you with the angled riser ;) if was a regular truck would need a spring as it wouldn't be possible to have such an extreme angled riser without gettig wheelbites all time.
is fun ;) however is more a board to fool around than to use it often, Unless you want to train hard your core going up hill, great exercise also for cardio.
@@gamingwithvele3079 I did, but in italian, anyway check the moves you may understand, it is all about keeping your weight on the board and not outside so that you can control the friction ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oBt9Oo2_Th8.html
