@@bloodlove93that doesn’t make it an accident. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. Stop making an excuse. Are you gonna say that when it burns a whole town down
@bloodlove93 Don't touch fireworks, and there's no chance this will ever happen to you. Don't allow every citizen to own a gun, either. Some Americans should not own guns, and I think we can all agree with that. Furthermore, it has always puzzled me that we have to take classes to drive, but if you want to own a gun, "Here you go!" No trainer necessary. It's absurd.
People choose to mishandle fireworks. They aren't meant to be held or stood closely next to. Never stand over a firework to ignite, never spark a lighter (have the flame lit before getting close) and always secure the area when igniting. It's common sense people choose to ignore. Kids SHOULD NEVER HAVE FIREWORKS
I've been around 64 years, and the July 5th news is always like this. One year a fella blew his head off when he peered into a mortar shell tube. Who wins the grand award this year?
Makes no sense how many kids/Adults keep doing this shit every year. What's the point of taking this risk for 1 day out the year where you can just celebrate either watching the fireworks or not doing the fireworks.
There's not much of a risk involved in setting off regular, legal, consumer fireworks if the people doing it would take a few minutes to understand how relatively little force it takes to dismember someone. There is so much senseless behavior coming from the majority of people who feel compelled to use fireworks on the big holidays. Many can be attributed to being extremely drunk or extremely stupid. It's crazy that people have to be reminded to not look down at mortar tube when being actively used. It's even more crazy to think that it's a good idea to light an explosive while holding it in hand. Is it really too hard to place the fireworks on the ground before lighting them?
And every year someone who gets injured shares a warning… This kid did not heed previous warnings, what makes him believe his warning will prevent future events🤷🏼
Uh, yeah dude - those of us seeing your story are smart enough to not blow off body parts. In another story, some 41 yo guy lit one on his head and died. Yeah he was drunk.
Bro this is ridiculous every year this happens to someone because of stupidity either leave it to the professionals or get into the new drone light show tech
These episodes are NEGLIGENT discharges, NOT accidents. It's no different than someone who pulls the trigger on a gun WITHOUT checking first whether it's unloaded or not. That too is a negligent discharge, conveniently provided consequences of stupidity and ignorance. 364 more days to read about more of these episodes by someone who wants to think they are all bravado and going to 'show off', and they end up 'blowing off' parts of their body.
I see he's a monster who takes off the fingers of others for fun. has he established any connection post-trauma? or does his imagination for others still fail.
Folks DO NOT HOLD ROMAN CANDLES!! Place it in a pipe or have something to hold it while u light it. Roman Candles are the most common fireworks accident because people take a chane and hold it in hand.
