So I am 2 nights til a surgery so this has me feeling all the feels.

I had to take gabapentin after a fibroid embolization but ended up after a week of taking them coming out on hives so can no longer have them as I developed an allergy to them same with penicillin

I am so glad the surgery went well. I've had A LOT of surgeries and I'm with you on the morning surgery. I used to be at the hospital super early. I think the reason is because my surgeries would last sometimes 8 hours. I had one when it was 10 1/2 hours because they could not get the breathing tube down my throat. I woke up not just with my mouth wired shut, but a trachea tube. They had me in a medical induced coma as well. It was no fun! Oh the joys of having cranialfacial dx. I have a mild form of Hemifacial Microsomia which is in the same family as Goldenhar. If you have seen the movie "Wonder" that is similar to what I have. Gosh sorry so long. Forgive me! Please rest up!

Lol..my mom would not eat until i was back in the operating room. I then did the same for my mom. When she had her surgeries she was at the hospital where i did one of my internships and she had amazing care and i could lean on my people for support, esc when she was last in hospital. That was a hard situation and they were there for me. If at any other hospital i would have been even more of a wreck. She got to choose what hospital and she chose that one because shw knew i would have a support system.

Hey there sweet lady. I first wanted to say that you are absolutely gorgeous inside and out with or without surgery. I support your decision though of course. I know you want to be happy and comfortable in your own skin thats what matters. Just wanted to reassure you cause sometimes us gurls are our own worst enemies. Kayla, I was laughing at you talking about getting the burial mail. I get that and insurance mail to help with my burial. I told my daughter and hubby I am being cremated. I’m not even buying an urn. I told the funeral home to put my ashes in a ziplock bag. My daughter can let my ashes fly in the wind wherever. I refuse to spend $15,000-$20,000 for a casket, burial ploy and marker. I am going to take that money and enjoy life while I am alive! I feel wonderful at age 66. I lost weight and need liposuction. Maybe, Kayla and I can get a deal having two done. I will drive to NC. I need to get hosed out big time! 😊

Hi Tracy I'm sorry if I'm sounding unsympathetic but you wanted this surgery, so I do not know why you're trying to fish for "poor you" votes. I thought you looked amazing, so I don't get why you want to put yourself through it! Also seems you don't share your bed with your partner as most normal people do, but watch films with your 17 year old ... very strange.
