I broke my ankle in 2018 (actually detached my foot because all of the bones in my ankle broke) and they did a nerve block on me. The only advice I have is to make sure that you keep your pain meds in you even if you have no pain because of the block because when that block wears off the pain is almost unbearable! Hope you heal quickly!
This!!! I had a nerve block when I broke my femur, then another after surgery. The block goes away so fast, you gotta be ready at any second to take some paracetamol, codeine etc (whatever you can take). It is ROUGH
I been there in early 2020 I fell down 30 stairs long story from top of the stairs all way to bottom broke my hip and leg and had three surgeries to fix it
I felt your surgery and recovery. Broke my leg tibia & fibula 12/29/21. Can feel your fogginess after. Sucks getting hurt. Justin you owe Lindsey big time. I swear you have 9 lives. Remember there is more than you, that need you.
It sucks we take our limbs for granted and when something happens we are back being babies again, I still relearn to eat again after a broken wrist with surgery it feels so weird and how stiff wrist and fingers can become is soo frustrating arghh
Thankful the surgery is behind you now! Now on to healing! Take care of yourself and follow the Dr’s orders! You have the best and most precious Momma! I had distal radius surgery almost 2 years ago on my left arm. I had a plate and 6 screws put into my arm to bring all the pieces back together. I wish you a speedy recovery.
Me too I have a Volta plate and 7 screws I am 7 weeks in after surgery and have to relearn everything again and get physcially therapy for it never felt so stiff in wrist and fingers ever and it's a daily struggle for me as I just wanna give up. 😔 It's painfully and one step forward and two steps backwards again, what did you do to get back more mobility again?
Praying that you heal in no time , I remember my Dad slipped on ice in our driveway and broke his ankle so bad he had to get plates and screws, we had to put a bed in our kitchen so he could get to our bathroom and family room easier..
Hi from Nashville! My mom and I love watching your channel together. She's a dentist and just wanted to make sure they checked Justin's jaw for a fracture since he says he can't put his teeth together on one side. She says it is commonly the most overlooked injury in accidents like that. We are so glad the surgery went well - praying for a speedy recovery!

Justin, you and I look like twins! I had hand/wrist surgery probably the same day as you and also got a nerve block! Def strange sensation having a nerve block! Take it easy breezy!

Mana Jo has been busy taking care of her boys! I just nursed my 39 year old back to health with the flu. A moms work is never done. I hope you are feeling better by now Justin. Hang in there, Justin! Just know that you will never again fly through security without a search. My son, then 25 and now 40, had the same surgery after a bmx crash. The arm healed well, but aches now and then. He was given the option of removing the plates, but preferred to for go another surgery. He never makes it through airport security without setting off an alarm.😂
Ohh, shouldn't happen with a Volta plate and screws which have too now since 7 weeks ago but best show the surgery scar if it goes off in case happens to me too at airport but normally shouldn't send it off

Praying for you Justin. Praying for recovery to go well and for you to be back in full swing soon. I watched the video a few weeks ago about when you lost your beloved Papa. I definitely cried with you. My mom passed unexpectedly 7 days ago and I discovered her. I lived with her. That 911 call was horrible to make. The doctor giving me the news about killed me. I know you guys understand that pain. I’m sure you still have your moments and will continue to. I’m praying for you guys too. Your family is such an inspiration.❤️

Men seem to be much more sensitive. I had the same thing done, plate is still in after 5 years, thank goodness, would have been broken again a couple of times. I just went in had surgery slept a night and went home. By the way, you do develope arthritis when your older, at the place you broke it. I did. And my husband did.
Well that's part of being a dad you have to protect your baby especially in snowball billing you take the shot as long as your child is OK it doesn't matter
Justin, I broke both of my ankles one seven years ago and the other two years ago and in between them, I was in the hospital for diabetes, but I am all better now and I know you will be better plus you’re going to be bionic.
When Justin said he was high as kite I did that when I had broke my hip and leg too I fell down 30 stairs all way down I was lucky I didn't do worse that was early 2020 before lockdown my daughter had grab my little one she grab quick enough I was not ok . I had have two surgeries and another in year later so Justin speedy recovery
hope u heal well. Ive had 4 elbow surgeries and those ace wraps suck especially when im allergic to adhesive tape oh my its a long week till u get it off thats for sure! but feel better
