I have to admit I'm someone who has watched you since Tiktok, It always seemed like from the outside you had everything and your life was perfect. I’m so glad you did this as preventative. I was 22 and got diagnosed with breast cancer I didn’t have the gene. I had a double mastectomy with direct to implants too. You got this girl!!💗

This journey that you went through and showcased is going to help a lot of people. And has changed my perspective on strength and perseverance. I appreciate the support/motivation as a few months ago I got oral surgery as I was getting dentures at 36 years old and there were moments i was feeling sadness etc and I'm still getting used to putting my dentures in my mouth with the help of denture cream for long periods of times n I completely agree that eventually it'll take time
I literally just had a breast augmentation done Dec 19. 430 CC's. I also bought a wedge pillow and the pregnancy pillow for recovery and compression sports bra. (I am going to share my experience as I've heard the recovery is similar?) But the first week was horrible, not even chest pain wise, but my back was in so much pain from sleeping upright for the first week. My shoulder hurt so badly and back. I couldn't find relief. By the second week I started and was allowed to sleep on my back. I needed help to get up, but by the 3rd week things felt better. After the first week, keep moving (walk) to relieve swelling. Just have a good diet, walk and be kind to yourself. Thats the most important thing, be kind to yourself, let the swelling go down, time heals all wounds (breakups, recovery, literally anything - time heals). You got this don't worry, stay positive!
@@itssssj breast implant illness is a grey area - there’s not too many cases with people getting breast implant illness. In which, if someone wants to get a breast augmentation, that’s something they’ll have to decide themselves and see if the pros outweighs the cons. I know a couple of people who have had breast cancer and got a DM, and then just got implants so that they can still feel like they have boobs. Again personal preference. Believe it or not a lot of people have breast augmentation. But in terms of recovery, they’re pretty similar:)

8:23 I recently had a baby and had to stay overnight in a hospital for the first time ever. I kept saying the same exact thing! We are all way stronger than we give ourselves credit for. I hope you had a very smooth recovery and feel 1000x better💖
