It's Surgery Day! Follow me to and from surgery and beyond. I am a hot mess, so excuse that please. Be prepared for lots of repeated sentences and nonsense (the drugs made me do it). However, I am doing well. Recovery takes time and I am learning that. I am spending some time truly relaxing and will be back with more vlogs real soon!
Thank you for your support and care during this time, I really appreciate it! ♥

Thanks so much for posting this, girl! Very informative. I'm actually getting surgery soon, too. I am wondering if you could explain more about what it was like to get put to sleep? This is the part that FREAKS me OUT!! Like, what does it feel like? How do they do it? What does it feel like when they put the stuff in, like do you get sleepy or is more like wide awake to instantly out? Could you have stayed awake if you would have tried or is it impossible? Haha. Basically whatever you remember about that part would be helpful. Thanks so much!

Thank you for watching! I have actually had to undergo anesthesia a few times in my life and each time it has my experience with the actual drug has pretty sudden, yet peaceful experience, one minute your awake, the next minute you are waking up. Losing all of that time is a little strange but I try not to dwell on that much. For the most part, there is no real sensation to anesthesia. You should have an IV catheter in and fluids running so you won't actually "feel" the drug they use and the drug they use will be determined by the procedure they are doing and how long you need to be out for. I have never woken up during my procedure or even attempted to fight the anesthesia. I made peace with that was coming and I knew I was in the best hands. I really hope this is helpful information for you! I do plan on doing a surgery reflection video soon which will go over more details about the day of and my recovery. I wish you the best of luck with your surgery!! Please come back and let me know how everything goes for you!! ❤
