I find a broken steering box bracket on the E28 and decide it's time to upgrade and refresh the piece just like the rear of the car recieved- upon removal, Jeremy and I find an extra hurdle to jump.
We also start upgrades for the soon to be aftermarket sway bars in heavier duty front sway bar mounts from Limited Slip Engineering, as well as their rear mount reinforcements. This requires the removal of the gas tank, while I also completed all new soft fuel lines.

I'm digging the attention to detail. But what a botch job from the previous owner.

Is the front subframe aluminum? That is, I need to weld aluminum?

All steel, no aluminum.

Ah ok, great. This is my first time welding so I'm trying to do my HW before starting. Your videos have been an invaluable resource to me.@@SamHurly

My paypal record says $118, but that was 2018 so I’m not sure- aaron@limitedslip.net was his email if you wanna drop a line.
