Suddenly listening to this melody this morning took me way back to a January morning of 1984 and to the unforgettable memories of my honeymoon trip to Ooty. It was a chill winter morning and the music system on the bus was playing this song as it was negotiating the winding road between Mysore and Kalahatti Ghat. It was a perfect setup for the romantic mood as my wife laid her sleepy head on my lap and I was tapping her to sleep to the tunes of this romantic lullaby. As I was listening to it today it brought tears to my eyes realising the sadness and the emptiness which brought into my life since the day my wife took that winding and treacherous road to heaven after succumbing to cancer.
