I like this pattern . But I would've just worked one circle with a drawl string. And worked the first row of mess netting on the inside of the back stitch so it could be down sized too the drawl string pocket for easy carrying.
@@jennicarey3109 you just make one circle then crochet the bag the same but in the back loops only and finish like your pattern. When done make a chain that you can bow tie. Just stuff the bag into the circle then drawl string it up.

Please, what hook size and yarn weight and type (cotton, cotton blend, acrylic, acrylic blend, etc) are you using? You did not show the yarn, and I could not read the book. I think this is ingenious and pretty and would like to try. Thank you.
