Cherish these moments with Brooklyn as she will grow up so so quick. It feels like only last week I was doing Rabbits and guinea-pigs in the back garden with my son he's now 18 and I don't know where the time has gone. I would love to see some family content like camping, collecting bait, fishing and eventually hunting and any outdoor activities that are Brooklyn friendly. Just an idea or two providing Macie is happy to take part. If the pond doesn't happen you could have an off road/4 wheeler course for Brooklyn obviously once she's big enough to use a 4wheeler or gokart. Great video as per normal and thank you for the memories you reminded me of with this video.

My daughter is 18 now but when I watch Brooklyn, jump up-and-down and say yes, I want to see the baby goats. I can't help but almost cry. Claire you pay attention to every detail you can She is gonna grow up and change so quickly. Enjoy every moment you can. Love your contact love the Baby Goats, I had some as a child. My favorite goal was when I was 5 and 6. We bought one with a broken ankle. So we had a split on his leg and an ambulance tripper. Yes, we watched a lot of praise company at that time. Take a couple of old tires, dig holes that you can stand the tire up on their tread. Set a tire in a hole and bury it, half it's height. Baby goats have a ball jumping on top of them.

Fainting goats are raised for meat! They can be milked and you can use it for cheese and soap :) The goats are definetly pregnant, you can tell by their udders and just the size of their bellies haha

When you have a doe (mamma goat) that has given birth all you need to give her is molasses in her water. A cup of molasses in a gallon of water does the trick. It gives the doe all she needs, plus hay and a 1/2 cup of goat grain (helps her to produce milk) , to recover her strength after giving birth. The kids (babies) don't need anything but mamma's milk for at least 3 weeks. They will gradually start eating hay and foraging at about 3 weeks. Ween them at 6 to 8 weeks old. If a baby goat has trouble standing or seems weak after birth it is likely to be a selenium deficiency.

Dale is about as awesome as goats get. He's all about the community vibe and likes to hang out, without being too aggressive. Jake's right on the money in saying they're like dogs. Social/herd/pack animals that like to be involved with what you're doing in their territory. Rounding up livestock always works better if you're patient and calm. Rushing about and yelling fires them up and they go where they want. Running up and grabbing at them just encourages them not to trust you. Ultimately though, sometimes it does come down to having to wrestle with them. Cable reels and pallets = instant goat playground. It's obvious that you care for your animals, so please don't take this as me trying to give you a hard time or be critical. Brooklyn is a super-lucky youngster to have her animal buddies and room to explore.

Bottle raise the babies. We bottle raise ours from 5 days old so they are used to us and very friendly. It would be great for Brooklyn to help raise them that way.
