The love your family has for one another is truly something beautiful, it reminds me of my family. I wish everyone got to experience that in their lifetime. It breaks my heart to know that not everyone will 😢.
What a great thing to do for him! Well done. I recently found out that 2 x 25yr old rotting aviaries were built better than my home so I was nodding my head with the vanity demolition. 😊
The room looks fantastic! This was so inspiring. I’m buying a very, very small house in Suffolk County, Long Island and this gave me a few ideas for the bedroom. I look forward to more renovation videos!
*Transformation ✔* . Whatever was going on with the upper cabinets and what I assume was a "headboard" looked like an RV. Well done Team DIYHUNTRESS! Whether or not this is a primary bedroom space, having a space to rest and replenish during a major reno is key. Completing a bedroom space is a smart decision. I feel like many folks neglect having a calming retreat during a reno and you have accomplished this.
He was so happy, Sam! It’s so beautiful! Ps. I’m leaving for vacation for two weeks in August. I live in Sweden and you’ll also have to get me a house, but that shouldn’t be a problem. Just throwing it out there 😉😁
Aww, what an awesome makeover! Congrats to Rob for his engagement & new house :) I'm so curious though, how did you get him to give you a mood board ahead of time?
Ohh! I forgot to mention this. When we got the house I asked him what kind of renovations do you wanted to do to the house and scrolled through Pinterest with him over coffee one morning. 🤣
You really made that room beautiful and feel homey! I love that you did that for your brother. Just one question: Why did you bring your dog and let it sit on the carpet in your brother's new bedroom, when your brother's got some serious allergies?
Where was the walk through house tour before renos began? Hope you have all the before videos of the house to compare to the afters. The bedroom is very nice and one room done, yeah! Never would have guessed you're in your late 40's, was surprised to hear that
Lovely Sam. Every Saturday is made better when you do a video. Loved it. When you removed the carpet, I literally had PTSD over those horrid carpet strips. I HATE those things. You are not careful you get a real surprise. Fortunately I was but we took out 70's carpet from our flip house. That was the original shag CARPET. It was disgusting. I wore heavy gloves and a full respirator since that carpet -> don't get me started :)
No problem! That color is pretty! WHAT IS THE DAMN NAME er name of the paint, please? OH!!? SORRY, I found it...you did a killer job! Btw, what is that big panelled-over rectangle on the wall?? I can't tell where it is now, because you did such a great job. ? Ok, it's behind the bed.
Over the years, I've gotten to know your style, and while this is still very "clean lines and natural woods" like you have, you can tell that this is totally your brother's style and you nailed it!! He looked thrilled.
What a great looking room you created!!🎉 Your brother was so surprised and grateful. 😊 Is he the one that was in the Air Force? Best wishes to him and his fiance. 🍾🥂
I liked the Dr. Evil clips lol and like that you called out near the end that you’re aware you should have put up the light sooner 😅 until you said that, i just kept wondering why you didn’t change out the light after you painted the ceiling lol but the room looks amazing, and I’m glad he loved it! Great work as always, Sammy!
Only a week ? Oh my my Miss are you even a human? We need to get that checked asap 😂 But the transformation is soo damn beautiful and sleek 💯👌 The feeling of calling a place home is incomparable ❤ many many congratulations 🎊🎉 ☺️🤗
