Your sentiments regarding where you are in your healing journey with your family and the questions you are forced to confront during this process really resonated with my own journey. I’m learning that taking care of my emotional & physical needs during this process should take precedence when healing from the dysfunctional patterns & behaviour’s that exist when you’re from a dysfunctional family. In conjunction with doing this I am intentionally nurturing the healthy friendships in my life. Seeing your relationship with your BFF in this episode reminded me of the joyful experiences and moments that can be had when you are nurturing healthy relationships.
