All girls should if they want those thing's... As for me I've never wanted to get married... I've had 2 long term relationships and my last of of 12 almost 13yrs would always say "what would you do if I asked you to marry me" and I'd reply "don't get your feelings hurt"... When we first got together in our mid 20's we both wanted the same things but as time went on he either changed his mind or lied from the very beginning.. I'm not sure why I never wanted to get married or have children because i was raised in a loving home with both my mom and dad who were married for almost 50yrs until my dad passed away.. I have two (2) sister's and three (3) brothers.. I'm the youngest girl and second to the youngest child and was daddy's girl (#1) and even spoiled by my much older siblings... Funny fact.. I ended up having permanent custody of my younger brothers 4 kid's and one of my niece's 2 kids ... The last 4 I actually brought home from the hospital amd now my oldest is 21 and I've had him since he was 5yrs old and my youngest is 7yrs old...
You have a reason, I honestly mean this... you're alive, it's the best reason to call up a couple of your close girls, make plans to dress like you're walking the red carpet, rent a limo together, go to a fancy restaurant, etc. I hope you do something along those lines and enjoy yourself to the fullest!

I love quinceañeras it is such a beautiful meaning of growing up and becoming a woman. Plus they always look so beautiful and the whole family shows up with such love and support. We have sweet 16 but not all of us get a big sweet 16 it's not as big as quinceañeras. I know other cultures have many different ways to celebrate girls becoming women and I support them all. Women go through a lot in one life time and we damn well need to be shown love, care and support throughout it all.

As a Latina, I remember my quincenera I'm Mexico. Every aunt, uncle, cousin, neighbor pulled together and paid for everything and we all enjoyed music food together. Even strangers stopped in for some food, music and fellowship. They made me feel so special. But the night before, as tradition in my Dad's village goes, there were singers to serenade me with a special birthday song and of course I cried. Afterwards, we all sat together and drank traditional Mexican hot chocolate and pastries. It was so beautiful and moving.
CONGRATLATION ,GOD BLESS YOU , ITS so beautiful we as parents can celebrate a quinceanera, it's a proud moment in our family lives, I was blessed with my son who's older than my daughter and when he started to work @"15" he always wanted to give his little sister the best ,on his own wishes , to this day now that they are adults and have there own family, they give each other from the heart ,a special bond ,which I have always prayed they take each other and ,their cousin who lost his mom15 yrs ago to be there for him also when I'm gone ,to support and love each other ❤
