Hi Koree and Sylvia. This is my first time commenting. I usually remain quiet, because there's no shortage of advice on your channel. Anyway, I just wanted to share what I was told when I had my babies: If the baby is breastfeeding exclusively there's no need to give him water. The mom must drink a lot of water, and the baby will be fine. However, if the baby is given any formula, then you need to give him water. Please consider that moving forward. My babies used to fight me, because they did not want the water, but I'd try my best. There's only so much you can do with a baby. Just try your best; you'll be ok, and so will your baby. We learn along the way. Blessings aplenty for you and yours.

Koree If you and Sylvia don't already do it, and this is just an idea. Maybe you can use a safe disinfectant to spray the interior of the car and the seats before going out or last thing before you park it for the night. The reason is because the baby is still so young and his immune system is still developing. Just an idea something to consider if you aren't already doing it. Also i woul love to get the recipi for the buttered beet root. Maybe Mama Millar or Sylvia could attach the link in one of the videos. Thank you

I am sorry Taavi was not feeling well!! I am sure by now he is doing much better!! Keep the breast milk as his main source of food and it will help him stay healthy!! I know breast feeding for the first time you may be nervous wondering if he is getting enough! If he sleeps well between feedings 2- 3 hours- so eat you will know he is doing fine!! Also what you eat affects the baby stay clear of spicy foods!! God Bless you all!!!

Hi Koree, Hope Taavi is better, did they say why he was dehydrated ? could it be not enough breast milk or if hes taking breast milk and formula ,he might be allergic to the formula and throwing it up....praying for the little guy.

Sylvia just make sure uoungave himbwater in his bottle .Two ounce of water in hos bottle and two cover full of grip water also in the water.yoi get the grip water from the drug store.

Make sure everyone coming in from outside wash their hands esp if they want to hold the baby. Try breastfeeding exclusively and often. This keeps the milk supply going and builds his immunity. Babies don't need water before 6 mos. and only baby water not regular bottled water.

Silvia and Koree...you never covered Taavi's head. Nomatter how hot it can be, the baby, during It's early days and months, should have his head covered and wear warm clothes. You might feel thd heat, but remember Taavi is so so small, very very young...just listen to advices from here, then you can do the best for your child. I once saw someone saying these same words, you liked the comment, but you never changed. You're always walking with the child uncovered. Also, it's too early for the child to be exposed to the outside world...let him be indoors. He will grow and you'll enjoy your moments with him. Please, please, try to listen to some of the advices from us here on comment section. We're your family, we love you....and love Taavi so so much, and love to see him growing up nicely....❤

Hey Korea I advice you let Sylvia be staying with the kid more and feed her breast milk... even if it means pumping it, it helps the kid health wise to avoid contractions of flue , stomach aches ,headaches and staff ... I know there are many doctors here but kindly consider breast milk more

Dear Koree and Sylvia. I really enjoy your channel and notice so many people giving all sorts of advice. Some advice good some and some not so good. I am a retired nurse and only want to add this. As Taavis parents you two are the best two to raise and care for your son. I saw your vlog with a wonderful midwife, cannot remember her name, she should be your go to person when you need support and answers and block out all the other "noise" flooding you both. She is the best advisor regarding breast feeding, bottle feeding, choice of formula, water, over dressing, under dressing, taking Taavi out, keeping him in. I even saw once a post advising circumcision!!!! That is a private and personal choice! Sorry so long. God bless you all.

You have to measure the fluids a newborn baby intakes, there is a certain amount he must drink if you are nursing it may mean you will use a bottle so you can see how much he is drinking. Oftentimes breast milk is not enough or not suitable...in this case formula may be best.

Did Taavi have any vaccinations? They gave my baby granddaughter Roto virus vaccination and it changed her, mucus in the bowels, throwing up lots of belly and bowel pain... and very allergic to baby food. she also went limp and they had to call an ambulance. She almost died.
