God it's Beautiful scenery up there. Incredible. If I keep watching your videos I'm going to end up canceling next years vacation to the Caribbean to come up to Alaska 😂 That is one of the most amazing views I've ever seen.
Yes, I keep waiting to get bored with Alaska's beauty. But 42 years and I still Love it up here. Although the Caribbean is tough to beat....Gorgeous place.
Like i said in one of your other videos i love the content. The combination of beautiful scenery, a great cub, and stol flying is fantastic. I have a request tho. Please make a walk around video of the cub, id love to know more about the build/powerplant/mods etc. Thanks again! Mike.
Hey Mike, Thank you for the VERY kind comments. My Cub is nothing to special. Stock PA-18 fueslage with extended baggage top and bottom with Carbon Concepts access doors. Wings were built from D&E wing kit. Little longer than a long wing Cub. 9’ PSTOL flaps (Great performance), 8’ ailerons with 2” longer chord. Back Country Cub Slats. Lyc O-360 with 9:1 pistons, Just installed a Catto 86” grd adjustable prop, 6” taller gear with Berringer 10” wheels brakes, TK1 shocks and 35” ABW. Thats it…. There are a lot of much higher STOL performance Cubs out there, like the SQ's, and Carbon Cubs. But mine is treating me well.

@@flyingeth I Like it 👍 In STOL the 86" Catto (Grd adj) sure seems to out pull the 82" WhirlWind. No pull gauge tests, Nor FF/GPH to test efficiency etc. Just my impressions/opinion.
