Precious and sacred? I mean don't get me wrong. I love both Zane and Hidaya but they don't treat women like they're precious and sacred they treat them like they're not allowed to have the same amount of freedom that a man has. It's extremely regressive. Notice how they had to wait for their father to leave so they could have fun. The only reason why Zane is progressive and not the average Muslim because his mother's a white Christian woman.

@Doc Roid No,the way your viewing it is all wrong. And I hate how people say “you’re family and religion is taking away your freedom”. No you’re taking away more of our freedom. Most of the time I feel like I’m being stereotyped, “she wearing a hijab she must be oppressed.” Like NO I chose to wear this I wanted to do this, I feel free and happy with this fabric that signifies my faith. Even Sikhs wear a turban! Why can’t some people mind their own damn business and stop pushing their heavy opinions on our shoulders. If a girl doesn’t want wear a hijab she doesn’t need to. If her family forces her to, then it’s between her and her family. Say what you want it’s a ‘free’ world. But just don’t make others decisions for them just because your bored and have nothing to do. We wear the hijab. Don’t make us feel like the hijab wears us. Salam (peace) 😉😊☺️

You just projected it because of your own insecurities. And nobody covers their heads because they want to. It's systematic oppression that they were exposed to since childhood so they don't even know the real meaning of the word freedom and progressive. They are not letting her go to a different state to attend college. And are setting up weird precedents like get married and then go wherever you want to. Watch the other videos. That's the definition of taking away someone's personal choice. So you can go ahead and defend it all you want. But the fact if the matter is that they are extremely oppressed and repressed and that too in a systematic way, notice how everything has to go through the so called head of the house which is their father. They can't even move an inch without his permission. That's bullshit considering Hidaya is 18.

@@chinour6385 I did my MBBS from a Muslim minority institution in New Delhi and my mother is a Roman Catholic so I suppose I do know about both of them enough to have and opinion. And Christianity is no less when it comes to radicalization. But the fact that Zane has the amount of freedom that he exercises is because of his white mom and Christian beliefs. Sad but true. Try and compare Zane's other half sister from his mom's second marriage to Hidaya and you'll know what cultural differences and freedom means.

Your dad and step mom are beautiful honestly lol I know that sounds weird but the fact that your step mom treats you like a son and you treat your sister like she’s your full sister is amazing .
