But I found your channel a few months ago and i legit am not kidding I watch your videos when i need to feel like i have some family around. I soooo love to hear when children talk about all the encouragement they receive from educators! The jeans, remind me of when my 14yo as a lil girl, wore capri type tights and her father would act really concerned about the fact she needed to go to wally world and talk to "em bout gettin the rest of them britches"! True speech, lol!! You 2 have amazing kids!! God sent for sure!! Oh and the twins at the performance!

One of the reasons I watch your channel is because you aren’t faking anything and you don’t do mean pranks just to get views. Your kids are kids and you show all the sides of them without putting them down. I have unsubscribed from a few vlogs that for some reason are very popular but once they pull a mean “joke” or “prank” they lose me. I just don’t have time for that type of nonsense, once again thank you for being one of the BEST family vlogs on RU-vid. 🙂

I used to eat Grapenuts as a teenager too - love them! I come from a family of eight kids, and when we were on road trips, Mom would get a loaf of bread and pack of lunch meat and make sandwiches while Dad was driving. She would put each one on a paper towel and we'd pass them around, and then pass a bag of chips! Probably would have been easier to make the sandwiches ahead of time, but this is one of my fondest childhood memories! ~Amy~

Danny going shopping with Ashlynn for a bathing suit reminds me of my dad taking me to the library. He looked at every book I chose. Sometimes he would look at them and hand it back to me, just saying "No." I never questioned him because I knew already. Frustrated me back then, but I appreciate it now. Target has everything! My favorite place to shop lately. I do go crazy with vacation snacks. Things I don’t usually eat will somehow end up in my grocery cart. But I think my all time favorite is to make those No Bake cookies. Don’t make them usually, but come vacation time, it’s a must. So weird!!

Nothing wrong with that. I have a culinary arts degree. But my children grew up eating cereal cocoa krispies and count chocolate were the top 2 for them. On my families last road trip which is about 4 & half hours plus stops so closer to 5 hours I went to target and got a bunch of snacks, chips, 2 cases of soda (we took half of each), and a case of water. It was the BEST thing I’ve thought of lol so when we stopped to get gas we weren’t buying overpriced candy & chips we already had it in the car 🙌🏽 Most hotels here in Texas have free breakfast but bringing your own food is so smart!

Two of the people that are so encouraging to me one is a girl who I used to run track and cross country with in high school her mom . I didn't grow up in a good home I was abuse by my mom never felled really encouragemed by anyone in my family really there was alot of other thing I had to deal with but mrs. Robin has helped me in so many ways. I was also bullied in high school bc of being in special needs classes because I have a learning disability. Mrs robin was such a huge encouragement with that. Also because of mrs. Robin being so encouraging to me on the first Sundays I teach the middle school age group on the first Sundays. Mrs. Robin always told me that I can do what ever I want to do as long as I putmy mind to , worke hard at it and try my best and as long as it's what God has planne. Another one is the pastors wife at the church i go to is also so encouraging to me i was diagnosed with server anxiety also server asthma any time she notices somthing is wrong she'll check on me be there for me in any way she can or I need her to be. Yall are also encouraging to me bc so many times I just fell things I do at home is not good enough or when I'm having a hard day or rough day y'all help me remember that I can still choose how my day is going to be by my attitude towards the situation in facing and that it's ok to not be ok but I also need to talk to somone about what's wrong or going on. That somti mes things want get done when we want them to be done but we will get them done as long as we worke at getting it done.

I'm with Danny my grandma used to buy grape nut cereal when I was a kid and I would put 2 tbsp of sugar. Yum. We boil hotdogs to reduce the sodium of the hotdogs. I even boil them before I put them on the grill so it's not so salty.

No sugary cereals allowed in parents home while growing up! Mom made homemade granola my whole life! Loved my mom's granola! In fact, I miss it so much now!! Weird thing... I usually make hot dogs like I do sausage. I heat it up in a little water, and then let the water boil off and then it browns. How can anyone hate you guys? Seriously! Loving the modesty rules. My parents did the same thing growing up. I sometimes do still boil my hotdogs (that's how I was raised) but I do like to cook them in a skillet or in the oven. I don't own a grill but that is also a good option.

I love watching your vlogs! I kinda feel like part of your family! I’m a single mom and going to work everyday then coming home to my kids one of whom has type 1 diabetes, hearing loss, and autism it can be rough at times but I see your positive energy and it really refreshes me! Danny I was just in the store the other day looking for Grape Nuts I love them especially with the sugar it’s my absolute favorite cereal, my son loves corn flake my daughter loves Raisin Bran lol I know not your typical kid friendly cereals. My go to snacks are Twizzlers and SnoCaps (don’t know if I spelled them right). I love your family values and how you guys are fair but strict with your kids all at the same time. I don’t blame you one bit for teaching modesty with bathing suits there are too many weirdos out there. I loved seeing you all out together as a family! When I was young I was bounced from foster home to foster home so family and togetherness was not something I learned! I did “break the cycle” and seeing vlogs like yours help me in more ways than ever and I thank you for sharing!
