Hi, Gerard! Did you get that part where Dea was talking about her first engagement ring where it was just between the two of them and nobody else who knew about the engagement? She said that was in 2016, when they were three months into their relationship.
@@TDLTDL100 ... As you know, I can’t speak or understand a word of Filipino but I did find it a little weird when Dea took Daryl’s ring off & then spoke about the other one she was wearing. I actually didn’t know, but it’s so cool that they’ve now made it official as they’re perfect for each other ☝️😄👌
@@gerardroll6468 The first one was a secret but they mentioned in the first part of the video that they are now in Davao to ask Dea's parents' blessing (so I suppose it meant her parents' blessing for them to finally get married). The proposal portion of the video was a surprise for Dea because she obviously did not expect Daryl to propose again. :)

I did that also but found it a little daunting, given that my father in law is a retired police detective & quite a large man, cutting a very imposing presence wherever he goes, but now, we get along great, especially as he’s about to become a grandfather for the 5th time (just 7 weeks to go now).

And congratulations in advance for becoming a father!! :) Actually, the tradition in the Philippines of asking for the lady's parents' blessing is called 'pamamanhikan' wherein the man's family accompanies the man in going to ask the lady's parents' for her hand in marriage. Given the current situation, it's better to stay safe. Zoom is waving. LOL. Btw, Davao is a plane ride away from Manila.
