It was time to give back to my ole man, after working his whole life he finally retired. I wanted to get him a car from his era, that was not perfect and needed some love. So he could tinker with it in his new found free time. And I felt this car as prefect, a 1980 bandit trans am!
He graduated high school in 1980 and just 4 year later I was born. So this was the car from that era! So we surprised him on Christmas with it, and caught him a little off guard!
Plans are to get it as solid body as we can, then start down the path of a power train swap! Then he can get this Trans AM from the past back on the open road!
