So exactly when would you tell your loving mother that you had a miscarriage or a stillborn? Months later? Years later? Never? Would you just suffer alone? This does not make sense at all in the light of what I know about LOVE.

There’s no such thing as “a stillborn”. And what if their loved ones only found out after a stillbirth that the baby had ever existed. How do you think they would feel?

My husband and I have had 5 miscarriages, but I always told our families each time I was pregnant because it’s my belief that no matter if it ended in a loss, a pregnancy is a gift and my baby wasn’t any less alive before the miscarriage and deserved to be celebrated just as any pregnancy should be celebrated. After the first 2 misses I started to expect the worst each time, so I wanted to celebrate and to be happy for every second I was pregnant regardless of how it was going to end.if I didn’t tell anyone, I wouldn’t have had anyone to mourn with. I wouldn’t have had anyone to talk to about the loss and the pain. I totally understand why this wouldn’t be the route everyone would choose, but I chose to celebrate every second. Now I am 41 and have finally come to terms with the fact that my daughter (now almost 22 years old) is going to be my only baby. I was so lucky to be able to carry her and deliver her; she’s my miracle. Now my daughter has a little boy and it has been the most incredible time in my life! It’s the first time in 20 years that I can see diaper commercials and pregnant women without bursting into tears. I am very sorry for your losses. I hope if you haven’t found peace yet, that some day, it will find you. Be well❤️

If they chose to keep their pregnancy private, wed support them :) we didn’t choose to, it just kinda happened via the distance :)

I also have three sisters, but only the eldest has kids. Her first two were twins and I recall a smidge of worry about both being able to be born safely, with a certain procedure brought up at one point by a doctor. But both babies came to be and are doing great. Needless to saw I would die for those kids

What is there to enjoy for them? Its a private thing. If they don't want to share, there is no reason for being pissed off. They have all the time of the world to spend with the baby now.

She probably just didnt realise they went through the whole pregnancy thing. When you suddenly appear with a baby, without telling anyone about pregnancy she probably was very confused about how the baby appeared in their lives xD so i guess she didnt mean nothing wrong, she was just bamboozled at that moment xD

I get how it sounded like that, but you can definitely tell that the first part of the conversation was cut and also all the commotion/confusion going on. When someone shows up with a baby saying its theirs and they hid the pregnancy, you're going to automatically assume they adopted and didn't tell anyone incase things didn't go accordingly. So she had obviously just said something (that was cut, or couldn't hear over everyone being so excited) along the lines of where did this baby come from, how did this all happen. And all Hannah meant when she said she's ours, is that she physically had her that she was made from both parents. And the other lady when she said I thought you adopted, didn't mean it as she's not theirs, she meant as she thought there was no possible way Hannah was pregnant and had a baby without anyone knowing. It was no way meant to be insensitive, or hurtful, or offensive. As Ben said they have adoptive family, so that right there also shows why maybe she thought they adopted seeing as that's not an uncommon thing for their family.

Exactly!!!! I adopted 3 children and never mention it. They're my kids. People just don't get it. SMH!

It is their pregnancy but maybe at least tell the parents and or the grandparents. I can understand and respect that they might not want everyone's "advice" but the elders deserve to know. Still pretty cool.
