Honestly, I really didn’t appreciate everything my mom did for me until I moved out. I wish my mom would still go through my closet/ room and help me declutter, mostly because I hoard things even when I don’t really like them. You’re really an amazing mom and teens are just difficult, we think we know everything until life actually hits us.

100%% agreed I'm 15 and I always thought I knew everything until I got pregnant at 14 and started to do everything on my own and now I'm 15 and a teen mum with a 3 month old baby girl named Alyssa. Still to this day I don't talk with mum because she kicked me and my 3 month old daughter out of her house. So always respect and appreciate the things your mum does for you even just the little things like her getting you a glass of water. 💖 All thanks to the wonderful mums out there with difficult teen daughters and son's 💖👏

Just a suggestion- you could make bins with certain sizes of clothes and let the younger kids keep what they like of it when they grow into that size

That's exactly what I thought of as well!! Because then you would both be able to save money from not buying as many new clothes, and be helpin the planet at the same time by recycling clothes. Plus wearing hand me downs ( that are in good condition ) might actually make you feel better since you'd know that you found better use of those clothes, and may make the new owner nolstalgic that they're wearing a piece of memory from one of their siblings

Idea- You can have bins in a spare area and each one will have different sizes in it, and everytime one girl doesnt want soemthing anymore she can just put it in the corresponding bin, and the younger girls can pick what they like. I think since there are so many girls, it would be a cool system. It works for me and my sisters!

I can see both sides. A great mom who just wants to help her kids, and teens who are sentimental about their clothes. Some moms don’t even care if their kids have clothes so these girls are lucky to have such a loving mother🥰 Happy Mother’s Day Tiffany!!

As somebody who has rather recently been a teenager, I can 100% confirm that I would want the closet make-over be a TOTAL 50-50 TEAM EFFORT because I definitely think and feel about my clothes differently than my mom does and also, it would be fun and also quality time spent together and also, we wouldn't have to go through everything twice, we'd just do it together. And also, she'd probably learn something about me, my style, my thinking, my reasoning and perhaps understand how to respect my boundaries and choices a bit better.

Not a teenager anymore but I think it’s really sweet that you go shopping for them to replenish their closet. I think it teaches minimalism and that’s pretty sweet! I love to declutter and organise myself and I’m pretty perfectionist about it. So altough I would love the gesture. I wouldn’t want my mom anywhere near my closet. BUT.. seeing you do this with so much love for your kids makes me remind of how loving my mom was/is.. so I think its nice that you do this ❤️

I think you’re doing an amazing job! ☺️ looking back I think I would have been critical of my mum decluttering my closet, but that’s just because I would have feared that she would get rid of my clothes that she don’t like but I love and just let me keep the stuff she wants me to wear. Also without shopping afterwards, I would have thought that I have gaps in my wardrobe. It’s so good that you consider all of that possible issues 😍👍🏻!

Yes! That is the same for me because i have quite a collection of things that i love but my mum hates me wearing. if she went through my wardrobe, she would probably get rid of some of my favourite things, and then i'd go to wear them and i wouldn't be able to find them anywhere

I used to always get mad at my mother for sorting out my closet once in a while but looking back, she actually helped me break out of the habit of hoarding clothes that I don't necessarily need or want. It was also way easier for me to find clothes to wear that fit me and it really saved so much of my time. They might react to it not so positively in front of you but I'm sure they are grateful in their hearts for the effort you exerted in sorting out their closets. You are a really great mother and your videos made me realize how much effort mothers put into raising their children and how tiring it must have been for them. Thank you for posting such heartwarming videos!!

If I might suggest, I think it is better to organize the clothes with LiLee and NayVee around so they would be more excited about it and it could give them ideas on how to be more organized with clothes in the future. But I do think that if they haven't worn it 3 months after they decided to keep the clothes then they must go because they will just pile up in the closet until they won't fit anymore.

Do Nayvee and Ledgers next! But when you do your (Tiffanys) closet makeover get someone to come in and professionally do your closet as a treat to yourself! Have the kids go shopping and pick out an outfit each for you and you go shopping for yourself or have a professional shopper do it for you! You worked so hard on their closets and its always easier to shop and spend money on your kids then yourself!

When I go through my clothes my mom is there to help me. She gives her opinion but I’m the one who gets to decide in the end. But I do not get to go shopping after for new stuff so I would enjoy that part😂

Hi Saidee and Tiffany, yes it’s true when you break that kind of sensor the ink will get all over the place. I worked at TJMaxx a few years ago and they have those kind of sensors. This kind of sensor prevents people from stealing the clothes. Once, the sensor is broken, the ink will get all over the clothes and stain them which will make people not want to steal them. This kind of sensor goes on very high end brand clothes that are very expensive clothes that a lot customers want to buy and are big ticket items that people want to steal. Good question though!! I love your videos!!

I love that as parents you can understand that your kids don’t always want to wear the same clothes forever even if they still fit. A lot of parents get frustrated when kids want to change their style or they have clothes they don’t feel confident in anymore, I would love to be able to go though my closet with my parents every so often!

When I was that age I would have preferred to have gone through it with my mom! But also now as a young adult would LOVE this kind of help, cutting down my wardrobe
