Your family is really multitribal this is what Kenya needs to heal..Let me break it down, correct me where I am wrong...Your dad is Luo from Siaya and your dad's mum was Luhya....Your mum is Kikuyu...So you and your siblings are a mixture of Luo/Kikuyu/Luhya and now your brother's and your (Trudi's) children will add Coast/Ghana in their dna. Interesting to see your Kikuyu and Luo relatives getting together well and celebrating. I'm 100% Luo......Congratulations to your brother.

Miss Trudy, thank you soooo much for sharing this traditional experience with us! i am in tears because as you guys were singing in the car and when you arrived to meet the other family, it just struck her soooo hard that this is the culture that was stolen away from us, the traditions that we were never able to experience. When you and Maya were here in Barbados he kept pointing out how much, unlike Surinam, our African culture was lost.
